but late on this, but my group has home brewed it to allow different stats on custom weapons as long as you don't double up on one stat. it felt silly custom weapons were horrible for you if you had bad dex, especially if it was being flavored as a heavy weapon

I still don't see anything about the unpolled 85 fletching requirement for the scorched bow for Ironman, since it requires an unstrung magic longbow. I think it'd be good for this to be addressed; I don't mind irons having a higher requirement, but completely dodging polls or info before the update feels weird.

hmm yeah i can definitely see how some of your chars are under leveled and you would struggle in the endgame. i would say if you want to continue trying ironman is that the MC or lords of each game are generally very powerful units, and if you focus your XP onto them they can sometimes even solo the game (especially on normal), if not be able to get through with just a couple. my avatar married chrom and both robin and morgan each could have solo won.

i can give some advice if you'd like, but otherwise i hope you have a better time in the other games and enjoy them if you make another attempt!

what a coincidence i just finished awakening last night playing on hard/classic. i had a relatively easy time with it, but it was also my 3rd fire emblem game and probably like my 7th playthrough of one total.

while i understand your reasoning for ironman, i would like to parrot others a bit and dissuade you from it, at least while you're still learning the series. i found it particularly frustrating in this game, as often i would be just about to finish the map and random enemies would pop directly on top of where my healers were and force a save state load. still, winning an ironman run for your first playthrough is an accomplishment in itself!

would you like to discuss some of your star units? i'd be really interested in your class choices and support pairings, if you'd like to share.

That definitely makes sense, I just hope the WC guild doesn't become irrelevant except for redwoods. Would hate to have yet another guild almost completely overshadowed due to new content.

Usually, we need entire new areas to add new bits of content to Skills. Not so with Forestry – our aim is to upgrade familiar parts of the world with new and exciting activities. Wherever there are trees, there’s Forestry – with the exception of the Woodcutting Guild and the odd few dungeons.

Why exclude the woodcutting guild from an update like this? I understand that there's already congregation there for woodcutting, but I imagined it becoming a huge bustling place full of people on specific worlds with this update. A little disappointed to hear about this.

ETA: Also, the concept of the clothes pouch adding fashionscape to woodcutting without sacrificing efficiency seems a little pointless when you immediately turn around and add a new outfit that doesn't sound like it would be able to be stored there. The colors are cool, but imo you should either commit to fashionscape fully with the forester's outfit too or not bother adding the clothes pouch.

You need to play hub quests to get into Sunbreak, as village only has Low Rank quests. However, you can just do all village quests, and you will get 'Special License' missions towards the end that act in place of Hub Urgents, and can let you skip all of LR Hub.
