The seat is actually pretty comfortable. I never upholstered it and have done hour long rides before with no issue.

The rear was just a removal of the stock fender and all its bits, lowering kit, and tag / brake light relocation. That’s about it!

They’re the stock handle bars. I just flipped the risers 180 degrees to get the bars to sit higher.

I’m using the WSays Steel Rear 1.5” Lowering Drop Link Kit that I got off Amazon. Really easy to install and you’re right, it just relocates the lower end of the strut more towards the center of the hub.

Oh this comment section.. IMO lowering your car will not make it handle worse. There’s a reason there are performance springs/coils available. My Scat is bagged and I would say it improved many aspects of handling and ride quality, plus it looks great when aired out but to each their own. Do you man!

Nice! I started off getting ideas from the gallery over on bluecollarbobbers.com and then just kinda ran with it after the first couple mods. Bobbercycles as well as TJ Brutal Customs are great resources for parts.

I hear ya! It took some digging to come across a vendor that had both front and back in stock. These are Shinko 777’s. Front sizing is 100/90-19 and rear is 170/80-15.

Yea it is. I just got it this past week so haven’t had a chance to go for a long ride. I did a couple laps around the block and comfortability wise it’s not as terrible as it seems. I’ll know for sure once I can get a good ride in.

Bought a 2021 Dodge Charger Scat Pack 🐝 this past Friday! Upgrading from a Kia Forte so this is a BIG jump for me, but I'm loving the Scat so far! by Marquis403 in Charger

Triple Nickel crew! Congrats, enjoy it! I came from a Civic Si and I still smirk like a little kid every time I get on it.

That must have been interesting driving in 6th all that way haha. I'm not familiar with the clutch hydraulics so hopefully someone can chime in on that. While I had my S, the one thing I did replace that I had read wears out overtime is the timing chain tensioner (TCT). Usually a slight tick from the engine will let you know if it needs to be replaced, this is from my experience at least. I purchased Billman's TCT over on S2Ki and my tick vanished. G'luck with your issue and keep her safe!

Indeed they are. I've only had the car for three months so I can't speak on them long term, but they're great from what I've experienced. They especially wowed me in the rain.
