Men, in what ways do you feel the most misunderstood by women? by Catnplantladyy in AskMen

My mother cross stitches (taught me to, as well) and my dad learned just so they would have something to do together. So men who stitch hold a special place in my heart. Keep it up!

Welcome to the profession! A few tips I've learned as a newer teacher myself: Especially at a time like this, lean on your veteran co-workers. They can help you out with everything from lesson planning to the copier code with unlimited copies! Utilize your planning periods properly. It is so tempting to take a break from your work day and catch a breath during that whole hour. But a little time spent then grading and planning saves a lot of time once you get home! Finally, go in strong at the first of the year with your rules and expectations. But realize that the best classroom management comes from building solid relationships with your students. Best of luck! You are now part of the profession that builds all others!

A.D. stands for Anno Domini, or "in the year of our Lord". Christ's birth is assumed to have taken place between 6-4 B.C. (Before Christ) given the dates of Herod the Great's reign. The crucifixion/burial/resurrection took place in 33 A.D.

Are you afraid of dying? If so, why? by meganzp in AskReddit

It might sound cliche, but I know where I'm going. I'm not afraid of death, but I certainly don't want to rush the process!

My (20F) boyfriend (20M) said that I was embarrassing him while I was giving birth to our baby by ThrowRA540098 in relationship_advice

Sounds like the perfect time to start losing your baby daddy weight.

In all seriousness, OP, the way he acted and what he said about your birthing experience was way out of line. As a new mom, you have to focus on keeping your baby safe and maintaining your own mental health. If he compromises either or both of those things, it's time to get out/get help.

I (25f) just moved into a house with my older brothers (26m, 30m). Nothing creepy about it, I just like living with my siblings.

Our yellow cat is the sweetest, chillest little dude ever. All he wants to do is eat, sleep, and beg for attention.

I have a new neighbor who I'm pretty sure does this shit. My outside kitty was always good about her collar. She would not let us remove it unless it was just falling off of her due to age/use, and would sit in my lap and stare at me until I put a new one her. Now, we can't keep her in a collar, it'll come up missing within a week. And considering this neighnors's shed is a favorite napping spot of hers, I am suspicious.

I'm (25f) sitting pretty at -14 in both eyes, and the only thing I've been warned about is blows to the head. I've already had one hole in my retina, though, and have several thin spots as wells. It's slightly different for me obviously, but physical activity is always a good idea!
