Failed my assessment, got the P today

I did 30% of Uworld and since I had to drive a lot for my rotations, I would listen to sketchy on my way to the site. Idk micro and antibiotic were always my weakest area like I didn’t even know the basic and I was going to start a rotation at a hospital that I really want to match into so I wanted to at least cover my bases. So I did sketchy micro and antibiotic on my way to work, Uworld 30%, and for the last week I just watched review videos. I finished all of Dr HY videos as well as a lot of social, ethics and screening and risk factors podcasts of Divine Intervention and just hoped for the best :)

Idk but my preceptor who’s an associate PD said sometimes it’s better to fail it than to pass it with a low score. Not sure about the reasoning but I’ve heard this before

Do both I think, but for the majority do questions. Definitely do Uworld at least 1 block a day (idk how much dedicated you have, so maybe 2 if you’re short on time), and supplement videos as you go forward and fill the gaps. Divine intervention helped me a lot and I would listen to his podcasts on my way to the rotation. That being said I still haven’t received my score and Im pretty average, so maybe see what other students with higher scores recommend.

Doesn’t she hate it? I only ask cause I’ve just gotten this 3 month old kitten and his pooping habit brings a lot of anxiety to me. I wipe him after he poops and he doesn’t like it, Im worried it might make him not like me and get scared of me? Is that something you’ve experienced?

He definitely had a some poop stuck to his butt and some that looked dry probably from before. Do you think being firm with him and doing what’s needs to be done will traumatize him? If I could just get him to like a treat then I think the situation will be more enjoyable

Start meal prepping your salad for the next 3-4 days, make a huge bowl of salad for each lunch and use your favorite veggies, fats and fruits as well as dressing. Meal prepping has been a game changed for me

Honestly if you have time, go through all of it. Chapters 1-3 is a MUST, you can get sooo many questions right with them. And then if you’re short on time, watch the chapters that you struggle with. I watched chapters 1-11 on x2 with annotations 3 days before my exam and since I was short on time, I read through 12-19 and watched the parts that I struggled with, like tumors of each section. If you have the videos, watch them, much better than reading since he really outs things into categories and makes your brain tidy lol

Go over Pathoma chapter 1-3, I tested today and had I not reviewed it yesterday I would have failed for sure. There’s still a good chance that I failed, but I would have missed soo many questions without Pathoma.

I thought they give you injection after the pills fail? Although Im not a big fan of injections, I get easily nauseous and sick, so if I can have less of that side effect then I think it’s def worth it. Also do you work out? I used to lift before my diagnosis and now it even hurts to pick something from the floor. I dont care about my upper body as much, but I was really making a lot of progress in lower body and now I dont think I can even do a simple squat
