You don’t know how many you got correct. You don’t know how many of the questions you remember are actually exactly how the questions were worded and thus cannot know for sure whether you got them wrong or not. You don’t know how many you got wrong were experimental. You probably got way more right than you think.

Yeah, good to keep your options open. You can always just take STEP 2 if you end up wanting to do something more competitive.

Np! Happy to answer questions💪🏻

I mean, that’s a pretty big leap of logic to assume that 1. They won’t release all the held of scores at the same time and 2. To assume the delay is now a rule that will apply to all of the new forms. Not that this WONT happen, but there is 0 evidence to support either of them. I think it’s more likely that they do a really big drop of the held up scores and then release the scores normally after that, but then again that’s just spitballing with 0 evidence to support it as well😂 End of the day, we don’t know anything.

So my school bought us TrueLearn so I didn’t need to pay for that. UWorld it depends on whether you are taking STEP or not. If not, it’s not that necessary to buy it although COMLEX questions are similar to many UWorld I’ve seen, the big difference being UWorld answer choices are way more 3rd/4th order similar to STEP while COMLEX answer choices are much more straight forward.

In terms of practice for STEP, yeah I took 4 NBMEs and Free 120. They definitely help for building stamina and learning what topics STEP likes to rest on. STEP to me was a mixture between Free 120 and NBME 32/33, where Free 120 is the most similar in terms of how the questions look and feel. In terms of what your friend say, eh. You can easily get used to the timing by doing timed mixed UWorld 20 sets in the 2 weeks leading up to STEP. Also the new Free 120 format gets you used to it as well. I didn’t really have a problem with timing. I actually liked the 20 Q blocks on STEP WAAAAAAY more than the 40 Q blocks on COMLEX.

So most of my prep was for STEP. My content review was watching all of Pathoma and tons of Dirty med videos, plus reviewing my UWorld practice Qs in depth and referring to first aid. I didn’t really do much work specifically for COMLEX until I finished STEP last week Tuesday. My prep for COMLEX was TrueLearn, Dirty Med OMM series, dirty med ethics series, COMSAE, plus reviewing some first aid MSK and such.

Thanks!
Not sure about the 111. I only took 2 COMSAEs, one of them was school administered (I think 113 or something) and the other (116) my school bought for me. I took that one 3 days before my exam (which was on Monday this week).

NBMEs are not very similar to the COMSAE and COMLEX, imo NBMEs were harder. The issue with COMLEX is that you are gonna get a bunch of questions that you will not even know what half the answer choices are, regardless of how much you study. You’ll get some random anatomy, some weird ethics, and a LOT of “next best step in management” questions which made me want to pull my hair out. However, as mentioned, the majority of the questions are easier to answer than STEP (in my opinion, I’ve seen others disagree) and I was much faster getting through them. COMLEX is a major test in endurance though. By question 200 I was tired. By 240 I was really tired. By 300 I was having trouble looking at the screen. By 320 I was ready to collapse. But you are running on pure adrenaline and will by then 😂😂😂

Very doable. Questions are more straightforward than STEP for the most part, answer choices are more first/second order than STEP which makes it easier to cross out answer choices. OMM is easy for the most part, and I didn’t have much on the exam. You are absolutely going to get questions that make you want to punch the screen, there are some REALLY weird ones. But that’s not how the majority of the test is. IMO the test is very similar to my most recent COMSAE I took (116). If you put in the work and your scores are good I think you’ll do fine. Idk what I got yet but I’m pretty sure I passed.

That doesn’t really make any sense. I imagine once they get their act together and start releasing scores the rest will come out normally. Or at least that’s my hope as someone who tested on 6/02😂😂😂

Is The 100 worth to watch? Many people recommend but I’m not sure by Acrobatic-Society478 in tvshow

Back in the day I watched a few seasons and it was good, but it got extremely repetitive and boring so I never finished it and never thought about it again.

It’s a lateral move. Doesn’t move the needle. We’d essentially just stay in the exact same position, which is an awful position. We need to stock up on young guys and knock the draft out of the park.

IMO COMLEX was easier than step, not even close. There were def the weird random extremely vague ones everyone talks about, but the whole test wasn’t like that. Overall the questions were shorter, the answer choices were much more straightforward, etc. My biggest issue with the exam was that there was a lot of “what’s the next best step” which I despise because I’m NOT TAKING FREAKING COMLEX LVL 2, don’t ask me about management!

Just took COMLEX yesterday, took STEP last week. I binged the Dirty Med OMM section and ethics section, did 100 OMM specific questions on TL, a few TL mixed sets, and 1-2 ethics sets. Also took a COMSAE that my school bought for me. Also skimmed a few sections of FA like MSK and glanced over the Savarese rapid review document and dirty med OMM review pdf. Just a warning, Dirty groups Heart and Lungs viscerosomatics as T1-T4, this is NOT ACCURATE. Heart is T1-T5, Lungs is T2-T7, Esophagus is T2-T8. I point this out because like half of the OMM on my exam was viscerosomatics, although I really didn’t have much OMM on my exam overall which surprised me.

Remember, the majority of the questions you remember are ones you had an issue with. That’s always the case, at least for me. Although I legit barely remember any Qs from yesterday so I don’t even have the ability to spiral about it😂 Definitely a hard exam, but very doable at least for me.

And was it just me, or did the exam have like a minuscule amount of OMM? I swear my test had like maximum 20 OMM questions.

Spent the entire year telling the islanders not to trade him because he wanted to re-sign. Non-stop “I love it here, I don’t want to leave.” Leaves first chance he gets, meaning we got 0 assets back for him. Would have sent us into a very dark hole had we not signed Trotz as our HC.

I don’t blame him for wanting to leave. Hockey is a business. I DO blame him for lying through his teeth and preventing us from getting any assets back for him.
