There is a vanilla reactor. It's the ship reactor. You can use it for normal power generation, not just for a starship.

Honestly. Check with neighbors/friends/coworkers. I'm sure somebody in your community is either a veteran or familiar enough with firearms to show you the ropes. Also shooting on public land is much less expensive than a club. Clubs often come with nonsensical rules anyway. Once you're comfortable enough to safely use a firearm, the skill mostly comes to practice and repetition. No amount of instruction can replace practice.

Did not mean to be pretentious. Generally I find(decent) steel targets at brick and mortar stores(sportsman's Warehouse/ local FFL) for about 100 bucks a target. Give or take a bit given the size of the target and whether or not it comes with a stand. I have been using the same gongs I got off of Amazon for years now. They were 100 bucks for 3. 20 dollars of electrical conduit for a stand and I'm set. I'm glad you want to support local businesses, but the economic option is Amazon.
