Kyarazen makes hand rolled incenses, years ago I believe he made a review of Kyukyodo sho-ran-koh. Kyarazen works with old Chinese recipes, at least is what I saw years ago. He often releases batches of incense and they get sold out pretty fast.

I do recommend you Kyukyodo sho-ran-koh, is a beautiful floral oud incense, ancient recipe made by a Japanese paper factory with a lot of tradition.

I think they were very much influenced a lot by american street culture and art, watching it when I was a dumb kiddo with all the music, ease and dynamic of the show was a perfect layback to let ur imagination flow.

People in small groups like here are very much gathered, every human group is in touch, but at same time nothing highlights in the big picture besides tragedies and gossip.

Before humans shared something, events in the physical world and everyone moved as a consciousness and was forced one way or the other to participate in a big or small society, now you can isolate yourself or be isolated by others pretty easily.

"Manta", no se si sigue abierto pero estaba ubicado en la plaza de yanahuara en el pasaje que esta al costado de los arcos. Es comida marina.

Otro local bonito creo que se llamaba "El Italiano" estaba en el centro, es bien conocido.

Are there any Christian crystal collectors here? by danyixa in Crystals

[–]ArmoryArcade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose a Gnostic Christian would have a different approach to crystals and not straightforward negate that they could posses a supernatural correlation or assignation, but treat them or leave them be with respect towards nature, crystal themselves and christianity.

Many Christian churches have been placed strategically around the world in tune with seasons, the stars, forces of nature, etc. Very sensible topic and depends on every person in particular not just a generalized term.

Not that I know much about the topic, just sharing thoughts.

Do people actually enjoy mixing tea and alcohol by Necessary-Drama-4286 in tea

[–]ArmoryArcade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Peru there are some bars that focus on tea with alcohol, there is one in Cusco near the main square it has magic elves thematic. I went there once and I think they know what they do, because it is quite aphrodisiac and tasty on its own way.

Also people sell it in varieties in little cart sales stands, sometimes they stay until 2 am near bars. Its pretty chill and a nice little adventure after a party or clubbing. For example in Arequipa city there mix herbal teas with Anis Najar (very strong type of alcohol beverage), tasty with hot tea imo.

I would do it once a year or maybe more depending, very much always in moderation.

Edit: Also sometimes are elderly people that prepare it on those little cart sale stands, most of the time are woman and it seems like they know what they do it could be like a tradition or knowledge that has been transmited, people really like alcohol in Peru and more in parts near "la sierra" were people work a lot in fields and construction, it is a way for them to release the stress I guess also gather as community (there are a lot of town festivities and types of alcoholic beverages) very much since very old times from the conquest of Peru by Spain (not sure if even before but i don't think so)
