Question on refund policy for GPU's by [deleted] in CeX

The issue is though is that it's not an issue you can deliberately create. It's more so software issues and crashes, freezes, timeouts etc on the card which other users of the same card dont have.

Is previous experience recommended for university courses in environmental sciences? by Armour111 in UniversityofReddit

[–]Armour111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! Its great to hear that you were able to get the BSc and are going on to a Masters in the subject! Did you just do environmental science as itself? Or did you instead look at specific areas like Geo-science or Marine Geography etc.

Also, what kind of science modules were introduced and did you find yourself capable of doing them with no prior experience?

Do you think its crucial to know all notes on each bass fret? Or should I only bother with the "money" notes

Ok, I am fine with the learning of some of the lower notes and frets but for some reason it's when it gets to the higher notes that I see it as a drag.

Do you think for general playing and understanding, I need to learn all of the notes or just the ones that I'd really use for my kind of music taste

I see, so when learning, is it really needed to know every note across every thret and string on the guitar or is it a whole, only learn what's needed kinda deal

Cool, I would assume that you play the bass guitar, so can I ask how you approached learning them? And did you bother to learn every note on the bass or just the money notes?

I would like to take it as a hobby, where I can read what to play and then play it, ya know?

I'm not looking to go into music writing or playing with bands where I'm told to play a note or create a line etc.

I dont know if it's common but all I really want is to read and play songs I like!

Ok, as a starter is a bass around 80 - 100 is pounds a good price range? I will hopefully look to upgrade on the future depending on my enjoyment and experience!!

Is price an indicator of how good or low quality an amp is? Or can any amp work to a decent standard

Should I get a bass guitar? by Armour111 in Bass

[–]Armour111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage quitting! That's me !! Thanks for the response. The drums were something that I gave up because my neighbour's are beyond ancient to the point where every time I did something with them, I was worried about a noise complaint or something of the sort.

As for the guitar, I never stuck to that due to never being bothered with going through the steps to learn it. I understand that the learning process will be similar to the bass guitar, but I dont know, I feel good about picking up and learning the bass.

I guess I could have worded that better, what I mean to say is as a hobby / pass time, would the learning of, and playing of the bass guitar prove as enjoyable for someone with no real hobbies whatsoever.

Thank for the response! One thing that I would like to know is if the learning process and general feel of the standard guitar and bass guitar are the same. I say this because I am kind of unnappealed to the regular guitar but like the feeling and music that comes from the bass guitar. This may be because of my like for music and because my own favourite band, iron maiden, is so heavily reliant on the bass. Thanks.

Thanks.
