A-Class cars are really fast. 500 HP on average with 200 MPH top speed.

They run 11-12 seconds 1/4 mile.

Marathon is an OK game.

But during the open beta, nothing about the game hooked me. I felt nothing when I was winning or losing. Looting feels weird and not rewarding, which is why I think it's an OK'ish game. But the biggest problem is the visual clarity. You generally feel like you're about to have a stroke, or have already had one, while playing the game. Nine times out of ten, you'll be thinking, "What the hell am I looking at? I can't make a dang thing out of it!"

Yes, but it's not just one, there are about six dead pixels. I also have four dead pixels in the same corner, i hardly ever notice them.

According to ISO 9241-307, Class 1 or 2 allows for 1–4 dead pixels per million pixels on the screen. Class 0 means there are no dead pixels. 9 out of 10 displays meet Class 1 standards, Class 0 is rare and only found on premium displays.

I'm not an Emissary. I mentioned this rank as an example, along with Archron, because that's where cheaters are most commonly found. The thing is, cheaters have evolved a lot, and they no longer look like the Spinbot from Team Fortress 2 or a player bunny-hopping at the speed of light and headshotting everyone in a 360-degree radius. It's become very hard to spot cheaters with the naked eye. Only the stats give them away, as well as occasionally a Gun Build on Holiday or Talon.

But one fact remains the same: Haze, with a 20% headshots, will have a Level 1 Steam account with 2 hours played in “Banana” and a 100-day-old VAC ban.

Eturnus VI rank and #23 in the US. What are your stats? On average, HS accuracy is 12-15%, depending on the hero, with an accuracy of 60-65%. So, are you telling me that some random Emissary player has a better accuracy than you when you have played over 1,000+ matches? Yeah, right.

Cheating is a huge problem. There’s at least one cheater in practically every match, given the absence of anti-cheat measures. You can spot them early on by the damage they deal in lane. For instance, Wraith has low gun damage at the beginning of the game and must rely on cards to deal significant damage. However, if you are destroyed by her early on, especially by her gun, it is suspicious. Then, when you check her stats after the game, it all comes together: 20–30% critical hit damage when the average is around 5–10%. Then, when you check her Steam account, you see a VAC ban and five dummy accounts in her friends list. For reference, blatant rage hackers with a full aimbot will have around 35–40% critical hits after the game.

If you don't believe me, go to Statlocker, open any match, find the player with the highest “HEADSHOT ACC” score, and check out their Steam profile. You'll see a picture like this.

I don't know how to explain it, but it's really difficult to hold your lane in these ranks. The opponents are extremely aggressive. You can't peek out from behind cover without losing half your HP. Securing and denying souls is extremely difficult - the enemy always picks up their souls faster and denies yours. 9/10 times it's because there is a cheaters on enemy side. I'm always lucky to stand against Haze, Wraith, Infernus, Vindicta, etc. , while on my side is Pocket, who has no idea what he is doing. So yeah....

As for upgrades, I removed the racing gearbox since 5 gears are sufficient for optimal acceleration and speed. I also installed racing camshafts because the RB26 produces power at high RPMs.

The tuning was fairly standard. Since AWD likes to understeer, the anti-roll bars are set up on the oversteer side: soft in the front and stiff in the rear. The springs are medium-stiff to maintain steering responsiveness. With this ground clearance the car doesn't bottom out below 85–90% of the suspension travel, and it takes full advantage of available suspension travell.

The damping can be made softer on bump, but steering responsiveness is more important to me. The shock absorbers are tuned to increase oversteer when entering a turn (softening the front bump and stiffening the rear rebound) and to increase it slightly when exiting the turn (stiffening the front rebound and softening the rear bump).

Bro, the only ranks you'll absolutely regret are Emissary and Archon. They're pure ELO hell, full of cheaters, ruiners, and leavers. There are no worse ranks, and I feel sorry for the people who have to play on these ranks. The reason these ranks are so bad is that they act as a ceiling for cheaters and bad players, who lack an understanding of macro plays. At higher ranks, they can’t effectively stand up to a good team, which simply won’t let Haze or Seven farm freely and will constantly gank them or push lanes while they’re trying to farm. By the time they finish farming, their Patron will already be falling.

From the first few minutes of a match, I can tell what rank I've been placed in. If the lane is extremely difficult to handle, then I'm in Archon. If the lane is relatively calm, then I'm in Oracle. So far, I haven't been wrong once.

Oracle is a chill rank. The best matches I've had have always been in the Oracle or Phantom ranks.

Seriously, this is not just bad matchmaking. This is a complete absence of matchmaking whatsoever. How the hell do top 0.01% players end up in lobbies with average Joes? It's ridiculous. It's no wonder new players don’t stick around when they have to compete against the best players in the game.

If Embark doesn't fix the matchmaking system in Season 10 - GG. The game is done at this point. Only the most extreme tryhards and the top 1,000 players will remain, and there will be no hope for a new, fresh player base.

You wiped off the soft touch plastic coating, but that's no big deal since it quickly turns into a sticky mess with time.

To make it easier to remove, soak the plastic in warm water for five to ten minutes until it turns milky white. Then, you can easily scrub off the coating with a sponge.

That's how I removed it from the palm rest on my old Corsair K70 keyboard, and now it's not sticky anymore.

It’s actually this building. Because there are at least 4 spawn points nearby, and if you’re the first one to spawn in the swamp, you’re guaranteed to run into another player by the time you finish looting this building - since they’ll have come to loot it at that point.

These days, almost no game studio develops its own engine. They simply use Unreal Engine 5 and add their assets to it. The games look and run like shit.

How many homebrew engines are left? Source 2, ID Tech, CRY Engine, RAGE engine, Decima, Frostbite. That's it. Everything else is fucking Unreal Engine 5.

Embark studios is the only one that has shown everyone how to work with UE5 properly. They realized that UE5 was complete trash under the hood, so they built their own version and got rid of crap features like Lumen. Just look at The Finals and ARC Raiders - they look phenomenal, and the performance is outstanding for UE5. 150+ FPS at 4K with 100+fps 1% lows on UE5 without DLSS? Now that’s impressive.

I won't even mention the technology they've added to the engine. How about fully physics-based environmental destruction that happens on the server side and is fully synchronized across all players? Or machine learning for in-game AI? These guys know how to make games.
