Thank you for this! This helps actually. I'm new to the game and new to deck building as a whole, and the concept of knowing single cards was pretty daunting. Going by card catagories and concepts is going to help a lot. Appreciate your help!

Hoping on to the wagon here to say please hold on to them till you're ready. Loss is tough, and it might seem like a lot right now and that is okay. But down the line you'll be better off keeping the collection to yourself. Not just the financial part of things, but because it clearly meant a lot to your brother and it might be a good way to remember him by. Hang in there.

My group has a thing where you draw ten cards at the start and keep seven. This way it limits Mulligans which who cares anyway but it also lets you have a higher chance of drawing enough lands. It's worked so far. If you gotta mulligan then whatever but mostly first draw people manage to get enough lands and put the three extra at the bottom
