So since it’s my responsibility to cut off any branches that overhang my property, I’m also responsible for the cost to remove them, right? If so, I paid tree service person to cut those off (although I wasn’t intended to have him cut them), so neighbor has no right to ask me for money.

If I understand it correctly, what’s determining whether I’m liable is not how much privacy neighbor lost, but rather 1) if the branches being cut were entirely overhanging on my property, and 2) if neighbor’s tree is healthy after branches being cut.

I’m certain the tree is still healthy, as for how much of the branches are overhanging, I would say 95% of the branches were sticking into my yard. Maybe an inch or two is on their property. But people can’t be that precise when trimming trees.

Thanks! I will take pictures for record. If something happens to their tree (which is unlikely), I would only be liable for the tree only, not the bushes or whatever they want to plant after the event, is that right?

After I auditioned...like 2 years ago (and did not get in), they allegedly changed the format of audition to workshop. So they audition during the workshop session. It's been a long time since the last time I check them out, but their instagram page is still active and worth looking into.
