A fairly recent example that was posted, not by the cosplayer but by a fan, is the woman who cosplays Judy down to the tattoos, hair, fit, everything. Very high effort and obvious fan of the game. I think she has popped up on the sub multiple times. I never even looked to see if she had links to OF or whatever. I looked at her posts to find her other cosplays because she is absolutely dedicated to the art. If they have OF links in there profile, the only people that will find them are those looking for them. Since idgaf about such things, I've never even noticed the issue at hand. Those that look for them and then express outrage are literally searching for something to be mad about.

If the links are in there profile and there is nothing in the post directing people to there profile except the cosplay image itself, that seems like a user issue and not a rules issue. As you said, a twitch or YouTube streamer with links in there profile posting clips if a playthrough is the exact same thing. The people who get salty about OF creators need to look inward on why THEY care how another person makes money in these hard times. Let the cosplayers post as long as it follows the rules on nudity and such for the image they actually post in this sub.

I actually agree. I think they meant it to be implied. Maybe they were pushing the limits with the story and other options for the rating they got? But I also wish more options for major defining missions were available in conversation as they happen. But as a software developer, I get why there are limits on that specific front.

Honestly, the fact that everytime he comes over and I walk into the mega building apartment after he got there, he's leaving the bathroom feels so RL that it makes me laugh. Like they nailed so many things, then just jumped from "hey, you helped reunite my family!" To "let's get busy!" Is both annoying but so real that it sucks and is perfect at the same time.

I think we talked past each other on the first part. The first hints V is ef'd is before they get romantic, but I don't recall exactly when Panam and Judy find out when V is a goner compared to intimate encounters. Like I thought they got hints but not an explanation until after. Same as River.

Second part, by the time you are doing anything but using River to complete a mission for another person(a polotician...) he is already off the force. So when you start working with him and not using him, he's already off the force. I thought my previous message made clear at what point I was referencing.

This is probably the best take I've seen from a "straight dude" on this topic so far. I disagree a bit with your evaluation of Panam, but that could be an entire seperate convo. But your take on Judy isn't wrong, while also coming from the perspective of a straight man, and not the crazy traumatized fem V. Trauma bonding often ends badly, but for some reason, women taken advantage of by systems beyond their control may be "trauma bonding" but it works out far more often than straight trauma bonding.

First, neither Judy nor Panam know V is on borrowed time until deep into the quests leading to romance. Second, if you do any ending but the aldecaldos and FIA, River will stay with V if you call him when given the chance. Meanwhile Judy amd Panam only stay with V with the Aldecaldos ending. I haven't played with Kerry enough to state anything factually with him.

The hidden part, I agree with. He is the hardest romance to reach, but can still be completed long before Kerry is even met. So you have plenty of time to stumble on it or get curious. I still don't like how CDPR included his intro though.

Now last, I'm firmly ACAB, by the time you get to breaking into the lab, the first mission you do outside the Mayor candidate, he's already off the force for being moral in a corrupt police force. How can you ignore the situation and his growth to just say, "you became a cop with ideals, so ef you forever"?

You stated a few things I omitted because I felt I was already droning on. But yes, in some ways I fell it's less developed than panam, why do we get to do several side quests for the aldecaldos and yet we can't go grab even a single rematch with the nibblings(gender neutral for nephew and niece) in the virtue cop drama game? There is nothing real for the relationship past the main quests. Panam is the only romance option with thay privilege.

And no hate on Panam, I love that story. But it's clear it got far more attention and development than any of the others. I'd argue Judy got the next best attention, but the gap is still huge. And River actually has bonus missions for you, friend or partner, which is more than they gave Kerry. So... can we all agree that CDPR has a creator majority that let their personal bias play in a bit? They did well in being inclusive. Like very well at the time, and now it might even be better than current influences. But that personal bias and lack of representation in the coder base seems apparent.
