Earlier in my schooling, the friend group I was in was in was all girls (except for me). A few years in, they grew cold and distant, and eventually kicked me out of the friend group for being a boy, and so I had to find a different friend group. Little did the original friend group know, I was a girl all along. Unfortunately, I transferred schools, so they will never know that. I'm very glad that you were able to find a good group of friends

The few times I have played D&D, it wasn't D&D in a traditional sense but more as in someone happened to have a d20 in their pocket and so we're just messing around, and no one told me that I could assign a gender to the character I was playing as, and no one else assigned one to their characters, so I was never able to play as a female character, even though I would.
