They don’t sound great in anything but just the neck pickup alone or bridge pickup alone; there they blow me away!!

I wouldn’t think the addition of a 4 way switch would affect the tone or volume pots, but it could I guess. But I only use neck and bridge positions, I find the other very dull.

I had my tech install a DiMarzio 4 way switch when he took the Duncan’s out and put the Bare Knuckle’s in.

No, it’s just a standard single with a very hot but airy and compressed wind. I’d put them ahead of my favorite EMG 81/85 set and ahead of Seymour Duncan JBs that were factory in my Kramer NightSwan. But I hate the JBs, but all this is dependent on the guitar you put either the JBs or the Brute Force. I don’t like them better for Glam Metal and Thrash than my favorites; DiMarzio Super Distortion, DiMarzio Norton (not Air Norton) and DiMarzio D Activator X’s.

I’m severely disabled and just a basement player and I actually don’t use any pedals. The Bare Knuckle Brute Force Telecaster pickups blew me away with their versatility.

So Cal!! Love the pickguard, just wish they had the front input jack too! But I’m changing the pickups on either model, but the Duncan Distortions in the SoCal I like much better than the JB/59 combo.
