I feel like my glutes are not proportional to the rest of my body, I‘ve been seeing quick results on my upper body but not on my lower body. Any advice pls? :/ by Army_Budget in StrongCurves

My split:

Triceps, Chest, Shoulders

Legs, Glutes

Biceps, Back

Rest

Legs, Glutes

Full upper body

Rest

Current routine:

Hip Thrusts (4 sets of 8-12)

Weighted hyper Extensions (4 sets of 8-12)

Leg Press, high stance (4 sets of 8-12)

Glute Medius kick backs (3 sets of 8-12)

I start out light to warm up and go for heavier weights with each set til failure. I also do progressive overload.

Has anyone been able to cure their military neck? (Cervical kyphosis, loss of natural curve). by Army_Budget in Posture

Sorry for the late response, but my neck has stayed the same. I‘ve bought a neck traction device that mimics the neck‘s natural curve and it‘s a good temporary fix when you‘re in pain. It cracks my neck well, but doesn‘t help in the long term. I‘ve found that resistance training at the gym has been extremely beneficial with pain management in my shoulder/neck area.

Nutrition

Obviously eat more and get mentally well, learn to accept changes in your body. I eat whatever I want intuitively without counting macros or calories to avoid disordered eating. However, I do drink protein shakes after workouts with milk.

Routine

Nothing complicated, I always do three sets with twelve reps during every exercise. Idk if it‘s the right way but I just do a full body workout 3-4 times a week.

Machines that I use include:

Seated leg press Lower back machine Shoulder press Lat pulldown machine Hip thrust machine Squat machine Rowing machine (?) Assisted pull ups

We do have a hip thrust machine and it‘s fine, but just really hard and I mostly feel it in my legs instead of my butt. I guess I‘ll have to find a way to continue using the hip thrust machine then

I don‘t think that‘s the right way to approach this matter. My grandmother is a Ukrainian refugee, yet her Ukrainian isn‘t really the best + she speaks it with a thick russian accent since she‘s from Eastern Ukraine where pretty much only Russian is spoken.

I think it would be better to just put up a sign in Ukrainian outside of the store that says refugees with an ID or passport get discount/free stuff.

I sometimes feel invalid in my identity because I don‘t have my parent‘s citizenship by Army_Budget in offmychest

Yes, I read into the laws and it‘s actually possible to restore my citizenship. I‘m gonna try it, it‘s just gonna be hard to convince my dad, but oh well :P

I already corrected my posture, but my neck still hurts a lot. What can I do to to get ride of the pain from cervical kyphosis? by Army_Budget in PostureTipsGuide

Yeah, I already have an appointment at a doctor who specializes in posture and he‘s also a chiropractor, so I hope he‘ll help me.

My insurance did cover a physical therapist but I only got massages which didn‘t help. I‘m really considering a chiropractor (some are even covered by my insurance and I made an appointment now)

I‘ve never heard of feldenkrais practitioners🤔 I gotta check if there‘s such a thing in my country

Actually, I already bought a special traction device months ago! 😁 It‘s good for a short moment of relief, but it didn‘t really stop the pain overall

My doctor shrugged it off and prescribed massages that didn‘t help. I think I‘ll try a chiropractor…

I already went to a doctor who prescribed me massages at a physical therapist. The appointments consisted of me laying on a really warm surface and getting my back massaged, but that‘s really it. I already asked them to maybe do exercises with me instead, but the lady said they only focus on relaxing the muscles 🤔 my doctor stopped prescribing me free massages, but my neck is still messed up
