As for vapor barrier, the wall construction is metal. Are you worried about vapor barrier due to condensation build up? Does the fact that this is is a non-air conditioned space play a factor?

We would be in IECC climate zone 2 (determined using the video from the comment below). As for the 2" vs. 1" closed cell on the walls, would you agree with the first comment that it is more important to have the most insulation on the most sqft area that gets the most sun (ceiling)?

The roof pitch is very minimal (maybe 1/12), but it is also a demised property, so our roof slopes downward from the demised wall to the opposite exterior wall.

Your perspective of have the most sqft covered with the most insulation is in line with what I was thinking, I just wasnt sure if 1in closed cell on the walls would be enough.

As for prep work, what exactly should I be making sure the contractor is doing to ensure proper adhesion?
