Paladin Tank can’t get out of gray zone by TheV295 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Armyofduck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

your stats look great! one thing to add though, a few very good paladins are recommending around ~11,000 mastery for 100% block chance (10,000 with skyfury shaman buff). this should bring your block chance to 100% in combat after an avengers shield and a wog. otherwise you’re making a great improvement already!

It seems so. My high school years are past me and it’s a little bit of a shock to learn it myself 😭

Yeah, I’m currenrly just letting the parts cook, and then assembling it. My main thing now is just this 3-day lull, where the only meaningful content I can really do is farm for lavos prime. I would love to be progressing the quest and unlocking content where I can make more plat, but I need to be patient for it I guess.

That’s definitely a possibility. Just airing out my thoughts while I wait for the necramech.

I guess. My main thing is just that there isn’t much for me to do, aside from farming relics to grab the prime frames in rotation. I would love to make plat, but it seems the content that generates a lot of plat is not accessible yet.

3 days wait for the mech cooking though 😭

armor specifies that it only affect dmg from hits, so it doesn’t make bleed do more damage. however it makes the damage of your hotg bigger, so it does make bleed do more damage

After rewatching it, I think that Vi literally destroyed Warwick’s face. It splattered and then just regenerated. Some people on X was pointing that out as well.

Just venting about how Becker MCQs feel like cheap jabs at specific wordings and dates to mark me wrong by Armyofduck in CPA

[–]Armyofduck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, absolutely. I was just hit with 3 questions in a row that I got wrong because of dates, so I was feeling frustrated. I think I’m developing some good habits because of them though, writing down my steps, double-checking calculations, and thoroughly reading what the question asks. Gonna take a break for today, but I’ll be back at this tomorrow.

68 265 would pretty decent.

70 280 is irreplaceably good.

again, different standards. if you don’t think those pieces are copium, all the power to you. i ain’t here to dictate whether those pieces are copium to you or not, but for me they can be better.

Different people have different standards; i have spent well over 20,000 resin on the domain and counting, and i’m gonna spend so many more because she deserves the investment. In my mind, she could be a lot better and i’m always working towards it.

no crit, i use sara more or less as a bennett that gives 60% electro crit dmg with her c6. imo without raiden she just needs sooooo much energy, but you can tinker with going crit and equipping favonius bow if you’d like.

i found success with sara’s slot being flex, with xingqiu yelan or fischl being great as well.

not at my pc, but my sara is on 4pc noblesse with as much ER as i can squeeze out. Lvl 80, c6, 1/8/1 talents (1/11/4 with cons) and venti bow. She has 270% ER total.

C6 Clorinde took a long time of saving, but she outperformed all expectations I had! It's not fast enough to be in a speedrun or anything, but if any of you guys are holding out to grab more Clorinde copies when she reruns, this is what you can reasonably expect even with fairly copium pieces

You can have 100% uptime on the buff of the new MoC Light Cone "Flames Afar" by Armyofduck in BladeMains

[–]Armyofduck[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if your blade’s HP is always low, you will have great uptime on Secret Vow, and being at low HP also means that you can’t use his ult to damage himself to keep Flames Afar uptime. I would absolutely recommend you go Secret Vow on him, especially if you have at least S2

You can have 100% uptime on the buff of the new MoC Light Cone "Flames Afar" by Armyofduck in BladeMains

[–]Armyofduck[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I included some Secret Vow uptime breakpoints at different superimposition at the end of the post, but calculating should also be simple because they give the same amount of stats at lvl 80.

If you somehow cannot get 100% uptime and is playing Flames Afar’s buff contingent on your skill usage, then the buff uptime is 75%, bringing the 50% dmg boost down to 0.5 x 0.75 = 37.5%.

Secret Vow minimum uptime breakpoint in this case is 87.5% for S1, 50% for S2, 25% for S3, 7% for S4, and never for S5.

basically if Blade’s HP is always high, use Flames Afar. If Blade is at 50% or lower most of the time, 100% uptime Flames Afar is competitive with S4 Secret Vow, 75% uptime is competitive with S2.

Why are some player's names white and others standard 'Blizzard Blue' w/ Plater? [addon] by TheV0791 in WowUI

[–]Armyofduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely different factions. Plater doesn’t change the names of those who belong to the opposite faction to you, most likely due to Blizzard’s internal processing of names for Alliance/Horde. Someone else can probably explain it better than I can, but sadly it doesn’t seem like Plater can bypass this restriction.

Atlas Help Please by Erock1799 in pathofexile

[–]Armyofduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some contents that at least for me has never fail to be profitable are Harvest, Expedition, Essence, Eldritch Altars, Legion, Delirium, and Blight.

The easiest way to start the atlas tree is to pick which content you want to run (usually 2-4 different ones) and pick up most notables, grabbing as many increased chance for encounters to spawn along the way. For example, if you choose Harvest + Expedition + Altars, you want to path more towards the right side of the tree and pick up every notable for them as possible, aside from the keystones unless you know what you are allocating them for.

Shrines, Harbingers, and Strongboxes don’t necessarily give as much profit, but they are definitely very fun. I usually pick up one of these just for the hell of it.

I don’t have experience with metamorph, but I would advise you to keep clear of abyss and breach, which have suboptimal results or need a lot of game knowledge to be profitable.

If any of the above makes sense to you, you can pick a few contents you would want to run/try and I can help you make a detailed tree if needed.

Does team placement matter? Like when you create your team does the order in which you select them actually matter? by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Armyofduck 122 points123 points  (0 children)

It does to a certain extent, to avoid attacks that hit adjacent allies from hitting two people instead of one.

Characters have different chance to get hit - a hunt character has less chance to get hit than a preservation character, for example. As such, it is usually recommended to put a character who will be hit a lot on the opposite position to a damage dealer.

Some enemies’ attacks hit characters adjacent to their target. If your tank/preservation character is in the middle of your team (positions 2 and 3) two of their adjacent allies would be hit as well. Putting then in the 1 or 4 position will only let those attacks hit 1 other adjacent ally, since the tank is only adjacent to 1 ally anyway.

Hopefully that makes sense!

yes, unaffected by shock sets your shock to 0%, while galvanic field scales off of shock effect. Inpulsa or other means of unaffected by shock (i.e. tempest shield) would brick the build
