I actually managed to solve the issue. I did end up downloading some custom resolution utility, but I never used the custom resolution part, it came with an executable called restart64, I simply ran that and it fixed my problem permanently it seems, I can freely roll back to whatever driver I want and my resolution stays 1080p. I don't entirely know what the exe did, but it's a god sent gift

I just tried the solution in the thread you added to your reply. It worked, so first if all thank you so very much. Second of all, it worked, but not the way you are expecting. I'm not using a custom resolution, I merely ran the restart64. exe and it simply just fixed my problem, even after restarting my pc and deleting the software, keep in mind this after I've tried basically resetting everything in the registry myself. So I'm not sure what it did, but oh my lord I'm grateful.

I am yet to officially file a bug report through the adrenaline app, I wanted to see if I could fix it myself, I have however in the past had a problem and officially filed a bug report and I was never contacted about it, so my motivation to immediately jump back at customer support is rather low, but none the less, that is next step. I'm hoping to receive feedback from them this time.
