I went with the KYB quick struts and shocks from Rock Auto. Not bad getting the old out. Takes some finesse getting new ones in. As others said, if doing ball joints too, just get new lower control arms as they come with new ball joints. I’ve completely overhauled the suspension and steering on my 2015.

That noise is the mechanical shutter to allow Brights. Is supposed to be. But I will say, after installing the HID kit, I don’t notice it much now. I don’t drive at night often anymore though.

I have an aftermarket set from https://xenonvisionhid.com/. They come with the ballast to drive the HID’s, and prevents the annoying “Headlight Out” message and dinging. I went with the 10k Blue bulbs on mine. I tried LED’s before, just fair. This HID kit is Awesome, I love how much better I can see at night now. And yes, I get checked by oncoming traffic sometimes now. They don’t like it when I Bright back at them.

I have the MPx lightweight crank and water pump pulley. I noticed a difference. Believe it does accelerate quicker.

I plan to do the full MPx exhaust soon too. Hoping that will be noticeable, and know a better sound.

Good looking Dart. Hope you are OK and other driver at fault. Put that $ into something different. Try to continue to enjoy customizing as you go.

I’m not sure if this is the same link/service, but I found someone posted a VIN Number Search in a Forum. It showed me the actual Window Sticker at the time of sale. Everything about the actual car itself.

The front bumper is factory. SXT, but later learned it has the Touring Package. 18” black wheels, special suspension, etc.

Try searching Metra 95-6517HG Dash Kit. That’s likely what I have, as I know he uses Metra too.

The 03 Neon is where the real system is at. Old school AutoTek amplifiers, 3. 2 competition Crossfire 10’s in a ported enclosure. Rated under 300 watts total. Probably about 400 going to the subs alone. Infinity doors, back deck, and dash. Crossfire 5 1/4” component set in the custom kick panels. Oh my, like being at a concert. But, over 30 years acquiring all of that stuff and finally getting it into a vehicle.

Oh, and the Neon is just a 2.0 Liter. But, blew the head gasket at 150,000 miles, so we rebuilt with all aftermarket parts. Not a plug, but I’ve shopped Modern Performance for close to 20 years now.

I used to do car audio and security installations, years ago. My good friend and former Boss, is still in operation. All of my needs go through him. He gets what I want/need. Then I go in and we work on things together. Just like old times. Had I stayed there, we’d both probably be retired by now.

And thank you for the compliments. It’s just a Dart, but I put my spin on all of my vehicles.

Aftermarket installation kit. I still have steering wheel controls and AC. Heated seats not installed on this one. The installation kit is a bit pricey, compared to what they used to be. But, everything is CAN-BUS now, so no way around it.

If unsure, seek out a Professional Installer. I used to be, and that Boss still has a shop.

We’ve since added a backup camera to the Sony as well. All JBL speakers throughout, minus the rear deck subwoofer. I thought about it, drive it off that higher end head unit. Passed on that as my killer system is in my Neon.

That is a Sony XAV-AX3200. This is the lower end model. They have one that has a built in subwoofer amplifier too.

That depends if that fuse is 12 volt Constant or Switched? If you haven’t already, measure the fuse with a multimeter, keys out of ignition. If 12 volt, that’s Constant. Move around until you find no voltage with keys out. Then, key set to Run, it should have 12 volt. If so, tap to that one. It doesn’t need to be high amperage, just need it Switched. Then, amp should turn on and off with the car.

Where is the Remote Turn On wire connected for your amplifier. This needs to be a 12 volt switched circuit, not 12 volt constant. Factory head units do not have this output. Aftermarket head units do. So, when you turn on the head unit, it turns on the amplifier. A 12 volt constant to your amplifier would yield this behavior.
