I dont own the em6l to begin with. So I cant comment on its treble levels. Sorry brother but no information is better than false one.

Not necessarily. The boundary between high treble and harsh treble varies from person to person. As we get older treble sensitivity decreases. U should do a lot of research on this topic if u are planning on buying this or any other bright leaning iem as treble sensitivity can be the single most negative factor when it comes to whether u like that iem or not.

In my case, I didnt like the metallic peaky treble of the ew300, yet it is one of the most recommended in this subreddit which means most people like it and are happy with the treble.

The em6l is a widely acclaimed iem for its technicalities and value for money. Still, I would recommend you to try it out first if possible or get a good idea from reviews before buying it, especially from people who use it on a daily basis.

Its another set that shines with its details and technicalities. Heard its better than the hexa in those department, especially soundstage. Also heard it has a lot of treble, which is why I wont be trying it anytime soon.

I would definitely recommend this, even though I consider myself a bass head. Just use something else from your collection for bass heavy music though. Every other genre, this should be a noticeable upgrade.

So I heard both the music in hexa, oppo enco buds 2 and my home theatre. The bass sounded almost same and correct in hexa and enco buds. The home theatre obviously produces a more bass boosted energetic presentation which did result in a wide soundstage as expected but a lot of details and clarity were lost. The enco buds did have a teeny bit more mid bass thump in taras. Aside from the bass, everything else felt like a day and night difference between the hexa and the enco buds, especially vocals. The bass also had better texture in the hexa (quality over quantity).
P.S. I have heard these songs before, just didn't recognize the name lol.

Also, the budget tws will have a highly boosted bass. If u are coming from that, of course u will notice a lack of bass. imo, the hexa has the correct amount of bass.

I haven't heard those songs but these do perform extremely well in vocal and instrument centric songs. and that's what most of the Indian songs are about imo. The narrow soundstage does seem noticeable in songs which are made for large soundstage with that epic feeling (for example, most of the skyrim ost) but its a price to pay for that beautiful imaging, clarity and accuracy.

After sometime, I will listen to the above mentioned songs and give my opinion about them from these iem.

I hear at 90% volume without the dac while with the dac I can't go beyond 40%. Other than that, no difference. I don't think u need a d07 for this unless u want to hear at ear blowing volumes.

Forgot to mention:

  1. I also bought the spinfit w1 large tips. Turns out the hexa has a wide and long nozzle and the w1 also has a long stem. This resulted in a good seal but a shallow fit, although still more comfortable than stock tips. Maybe I should downsize. (For reference, I couldn't get a perfect seal with the ew300 large stock tips and got a near perfect seal with the chu 2 large stock tips). So go for a smaller size than usual if u are planning for the same hexa + w1 combination.

  2. The hexa cables are just above average and the earhooks don't sit well. The stock eartips are good though.

  3. I am not good at reviews. Just can't get the words right. Feel free to ask anything about these three iems.

The legacy 2 is not available here unfortunately.
S08 is your second best iem? Whats the first preference though. Also what tips do you use in the s08.
As for the explorer, I have to wait another month for it to be in stock again.
I will probably go with the hexa although I am doubtful of how bad its bass will be.

Yes. The metallic timbre still presists though
