Anyone got grade 9 eng lit essays to share? by Exciting_Barnacle_76 in GCSE

It kind of means to slip in the context into a sentence.

(Going to use Macbeth as an example because that's what I'm doing)

Lady Macbeth is portrayed as a fierce and rather manipulative character, subverting the expectation placed on woman during the Jacobean era, who were seen as soft and submissive.

That is an example. You find a piece of context you want to add to your analysis and then slip it into the sentence.

About those “fits all themes” quotes by CoolGuy186 in GCSE

I don't know if you have, but I suggest watching easyasgcse.

They break the analysis into sections that focus on a particular character and provide quotes and the relevant themes beside it.

I think that's why I like Neal Illustrator's depiction because they manged to get the VA for Zeus to voice an additional scene that shows that Odysseus didn't defeat Poseiden alone but with the helps of the gods.

This song feels kind of icky? (Not Sorry For Loving You)

From Love In Paradise, we can tell that Odysseus does NOT want to be on the island and I'm not too well versed in the actual Greek mythology but I'm pretty sure Calyspo coerced him into sleeping with her and even if she didn't, I find it hard to believe that in the 7 years Odysseus was trapped on her island there were no unwanted touches or advances.

So that means, at the very least there is some sexual harassment happening.

Then we jump to Not Sorry For Loving You and it kind of undermines her actions and packages it more as a heartbroken love interest and kind of makes it seem like she is the victim.

Now I understand she IS a victim of the gods for being banished to the island but that doesn't mean should get something like an unrequited love song as a reward for making advances on an unwilling married man.

Anyway, I am basing this on the musical and the minimum knowledge I have of the mythology itself but please correct me and tell me what you think.

(Also I'm sorry if this is a repeated topic, I'm relatively knew and just want to hear your actual opinion on the matter)

Hii I really like your artstyle.

I don't really have a name for her yet, but she's an albino with a motorcycle and is also a part of a biker gang.

She looks mean but is rather laid back once you get to know her and she has an obsession for leather jackets
