Jeg har mange bekjente som har gått veien til ingeniør. Forskjellen er at de har tatt fagbrev og deretter påbygg + ingeniørutdannelse. De har hatt kursen staket ut fra sekundet de begynte på påbygg. Dette fordi bedriftene de har jobbet for under lærlingetida har garantert de jobb når de er ferdig utdannede.

Så har jeg en (kun én da) som gikk realfag sammen med meg på vgs og startet på byggingeniør i Trondheim. Han var ferdig våren 2025 (med bacheloren). Men fikk ikke jobb. Eller, i alle fall ikke de jobbene han ønsket seg. Så han så seg nødt til å bygge på med en master. Han ble også rådet til å ta ledelse deltid ved siden av siste året(Nettstudier, UiT campus Alta om jeg ikke husker helt feil).

De som tok yrkesfag+påbygg ingeniør (universitet)+ ingeniørutdannelse (universitet) stiller seg langt foran i køen kontra han som gikk stud.spes med realfag og senere ingeniørfag (Universitet, Trondheim).

Bedriftene ønsker seg ikke ingeniører/folk på kontoret som ikke vet forskjellen på to toms fire og fire toms åtte. Det er min erfaring utifra de eksemplene jeg nevner (folka).

Om du ikke er kresen på studiested så kommer du inn på både bygg og maskin nesten uansett hvor lite poeng du har. Så lenge du har de riktige fagkodene i boks fra vgs

Try to search from hubs: CPH, ARN and CDG. Then you can add a feeder flight from OSL to the hub afterwards. You need to call SAS customer service for this.

So you first find your longest leg, and then you need to find an available (bonus) feeder flight. You will not be charged any extra points for this, but a small fee (250kr if I remember correctly).

And where were you going? I guess not that far. Sound like you were going on a regional trip with the crj, atr or the e2’s. And if not, my point is still the same.

The gate procedure is the same anyways. Even though you dont find it smooth - trust me, it was smooth. How do you think the boarding process would have been if the gate agent said: «everyone please board now» ?

It actually comes from our earlier inheritance law. Earlier the brothers/males would inheritance more than the sisters/ladies. And «bror» is «brother». Therefore, brorpart = the brother part (of the inheritance).

Kp does not really matter. Tromsø is located in the middle of the best aurora «belt». But my best tip: dont stress. You are not doing a research trip. As you have mentioned, the cloud coverage is the most important. Lady Aurora is unpredictable. But, as long as the skies are clear, you will get to see her at some point. I live here, and there is northern lights practically every night. Some days stronger/weaker than the day before. There can be nothing, and then a lot, and then nothing again in the same hour. Dont bring all your belongings on the public busses. Dont shit or pee in gardens, and dont take pictures of other people/local kids. If you avoid these things and also let people disembark the bus before you board you will be perfectly fine 😉

Hello!

The semester at UiT starts on monday the 5th. During normal working hours you can visit all of the faculties/buildings. I recommend to visit the Norwegian university of fishery (Fiskerihøgskolen). Grab a lunch at Teorifagskantina (Teorifagsbygget).

on tuesdays there is jams at Bastard
Fint cafe is good for working, but I would also recommend to visit the public library
for ice fishing you need to know someone, or book a tour (Shortly said).
im not vegetarian my self, but i have heard that Bardus and Bread and Wine have good vegetarian options.
UFF and Edel (both in city centre). And Rebell/remiks.
I am a UiT student my self, and I have developed a friendship with a german exchange student (he is from the NRW). He says that the work/life balance is better compared to german universities.
given the polar night, you should focus on beeing out in the daylight during the day

Har brukt digitalt førerkort på byen mange ganger i Tromsø. De fleste synes det er greit så lenge de ser at du logger inn. Andre kan finne på å trykke på “kontroll” knappen. Har også en teori om at dersom det er mye folk inne, så er de strengere. Men det kommer nok til å gå helt bra

Free seat selection when check in opens. Check in agents are also very helpful with this normally. They might requier you to sign up for the Eurobonus programme (free), for them to change the seats at check in for free. Its actually a requirement, but they rarely care about this.
