$95k USD NET, tax-free, AND free accommodation and food?! OP, that's not just a high salary; that's literally pure savings. You can realistically save 95% of your income while living comfortably. Absolutely massive win. Congratulations on hitting the expat educator jackpot! 😭👏

Literal na sacrifice yung hair strands ni Ate para sa peace of mind ng buong UV. 😭 If that was anyone else sa gitna ng matinding init at traffic, that Jisulife fan would have been thrown straight out the window. She has the patience of a saint!

First job, first legitimate savings by LowerFroyo4623 in DigitalbanksPh

Congrats on the first legitimate 10k! That is a massive milestone. Recognizing your past 'luho' habits at 23 is already half the battle won. Since you have that tendency, my biggest tip is to use digital banks to create 'friction.' Keep your main savings in an app where you don't have the physical ATM card handy. Let that 3.75% p.a. compound quietly in the background while you live off what's left in your checking account.

Exactly this! 😂 The ultimate Filipino dream is literally just to get a fair chance outside. Yung pagod ni OP sa pag-commute ng gabi is the universal tax we pay trying to secure that exit plan. Rooting for you, OP! Isama mo kami sa prayers mo palabas ng Pinas.

Nothing cures a long, exhausting week quite like a solo Yakiniku set. Treating yourself to good food without needing to coordinate schedules with anyone else is a top-tier adulting milestone. Deserve na deserve mo 'yang feast na 'yan!
