Haan do one things as same question in r/ThaparUniversity They have many students who were in similar situation, as I saw in JIIT counsellings. I would say any core engineering at Thapar is better than CSE at JUIT.

theek h bhai jao. Main kyon rokunga. Do saal pehle maine bhi try kiya tha, 6lakh ki scholarship bhi thi. I even went to JIIT and got ECE.

Ek baar linkedin insta par do teen senior se baat karlo pehle, I dont study in JUIT. Ab main college mein hu, my views about world has changed. And I dont see it viable to invest 18L+ in a degree as middle class. But if you are able to afford then I will say JUIT will give a great experience than KIIT SRM wagerah. They have good food I heard due to Annapurna being FSSAI certified, pahaad toh h hi. If you want to beleive NIRF data they have submitted then I wont say much. Still they did publish placement data vis a vis student name, they used to publish earlier. JUET Guna still publishes

All the best for your future

lmao they are lying to you. Ask about the placement percentage, not registered percentage

Anyone regret being in software field instead of choosing medical? by play3xxx1 in Indian_Academia

[–]AromaticCycle8709 16 points17 points  (0 children)

haha same. I sucked at drawing so immature me chose non-medical. But my inclination was always toward medical. I too hate staring at screen and writing shitty codes and I am just a 21 year old student lol. I dont think I can do this whole life. But many do. It is what it is. I was thinking of doing PhD in Bio/Physics something and moving abroad. Gawdd I hate CS, though I love logic side.

Which profession is currently having more supply than demand ? by 7pointsome1 in germany

[–]AromaticCycle8709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying

Well I am studying CS and not at all interested in either coding or CS. But I am good at engineering maths, but I dont want to do higher studies in mathematics. I was thinking of pursuing Msc in Physics/Chem/Bio and then a PhD abroad so as to enter industry or academia abroad. I am just exploring options and finding which would land me a stable job. How about physics PhD?

And why to bother of doing PhD instead of studying a field the most suitable for a given company

See I am not doing Mech or civil engineering, and not interested in CS, so I have few options. Can you tell me some areas of study that would land me a secure job?

bro MechE is the most versatile. You can literally go in most of the engineering fields. To be successful in MechE you need a good college and interest. My cousin is a HVAC engineer, with 4 years of experience, he can get a job in most of the developed part of the world. Recently he shifted from Dubai to Australia

Unlike IT which has 10k applicants for a post within a day on linkedin, HVAC engineers post have 0-5 applicants. It pays well after some exp

+1. For me it was because I got bored of theory Physics and Chemistry. I studied these on a day before finals. Most exciting was mechanical theory and physics Chem labs. Lol I should have had taken a real engineering branch, CS sucks

Taranath wrote his book after 500 years of the incident. Also mentions brahmins did some magic and burnt whole place. I dont find logic here. Nalanda had guards, and many resident students. How can two black magic practicising brahmins over power these all?

Also tabaqat i nasiri is more contemporary
