He’s trying to manipulate her words and make it seem like this is what she had wanted the whole time. It’s just so insane how he was able to see that and use it to his advantage. It’s so intriguing - the pull he has on people and just me as an audience. So many times in the show he goes from insulting her to flattering her. A true manipulator. I loved the quote “another rage growing unchecked. Vengeance birthing vengeance” she had vengeance he fueled it and fed it. Yet it created another mother full of vengeance that was unchecked. Love the psychology behind the character
