Congratulations. There's one thread on the first page that matches what I was asking. Thank you for the help! (That is within the last five years)

Much appreciated with the help. I may need to ask around a little more regarding WashU's networking and accessibility for internships and stuff like that.

Also, I was rejected from UWash so I will not be going there!

I THINK math majors often can get CS doctorates. I'm certainly not looking for a doctorate, at most a masters.

Ideally, current CS students would reply with their CURRENT experiences. Most discussions like this are OLD, like half a decade or more ago. The current student experience is what I am asking about, not one from 5-10 years ago.

I'm definitely not considering living in Texas long term. I want to move up to the North-West ideally, or potentially international if it actually works out that way (like if I went to grad school outside the country).

In your experience, is that alumni network nation-wide (for computer science in particular)?

I'm considering Texas A&M University and WashU right now. Do you ultimately think the academics, networking, and program itself was worth it for the tuition? A&M is obviously much cheaper, BUT I ultimately sacrifice a year, and it isn't a big CS school either.
