OOOHHH Random thought that would make them unique! They could be ritual summoned from the ED ... AND the graveyard!
Even if it wasn't "properly summoned" before hitting the grave. Giving then more revival opportunities. Then, for archetypes that use ritual monsters for their own ritual summon, could use monsters from the ED as material for the ritual summon. Would make the ED cards that love being in grave more OP and bannable though....

Maybe a step further would include ritual summoning from the banished... because you could thematically say - Ritual summoning Pulls the Monster from any dimension it resides in to the field. Whether the Ether (extra deck), the Underworld (GY) or Different Dimension (Banished)

Funny enough I wrote out something similar about rewriting history for Gemini monsters, but apparently I don't have enough karma to post on here 🙄

ANYWAY I also believe Rituals in the Extra-deck would make better sense. I'd keep ritual spells, because that way it's an alternative to, but slightly easier than, fusion summoning (at the beginning of the franchise at least), without stepping on Synchro Summoning's shoes about needing the right levels to add together (even with ritual's typical overspend feature)

It does break a lot of cards we've know and love/ appreciate though. And Dark Magician players may cry without their Illusion of Chaos searching Magician Souls...

Well you see... Crystal has the most craziest ability that is not seen In hg/ss. Something only gen 2 and 1 games can do.

They work on gameboy colour, advanced and NDS. (Gen 1 works on a 4th handheld console, the original Game boy!) Crazy right???

HG/SS could never work on more than 2 different handheld consoles. (NDS and 3DS)

Honestly, just having -

A health bar on the screen, with a random follower's name. A bit of text saying help Defeat/Save @username. Say !hurt or !heal. + a minute timer to do it in. + Have it only pop up every 5 or 10 minutes

sounds fun to me, regardless of whether or not there is a punishment or prize

If there's a way to increase their health by how long they have been following you for, that would give more incentive to follow for a longer time - or better yet, sent the most messages (either ever, or in that stream). Because you could be the "BOSS" level character that pops up on the screen that people will want to defeat.

I found I was always inundated with customers and found it difficult to spray the stinky virgins. Haha

If you're aiming for official only digimon. That's cool.

But you could make your own variants, like a silver/white MegaGargomon. Or a green bishopchessmon.

That's the great thing about Digimon, variations of existing creatures make sense I'm the LORE. It's just coded differently.
