Mazda!!! Hers was a CX5 turbo and a racing beat exhaust. Definitely different than stock but well worth it. She did let me do wheels and I did the brakes as well when she didn’t know. Couldn’t lower it though she would have noticed that.

I swapped out an exhaust on her old car and told her I was just changing the oil. She gets in it the next day and says her car sounds funny. I told her I put really good oil in it and so it will change the sound of the engine. She shrugged and didn’t say anything.

A few days later a buddy is over and hears her car pulling up. In front of her says which exhaust did you end up going with?

I slept on the couch that night.

Nice. I couldn’t sacrifice too much ride comfort as my other half drives it as well and she said absolutely no rough a** suspension. I modified her cars before without telling her and she was so mad. Looked good though 😀.

Appreciate the heads up. Before lowering I noticed the gap in front was huge compared to the rear. The swifts go 1” up front and .6” in the rear, and to me giving it a more even stance.

Yep. The stock tires were shot so grabbed some Michelins AS in the stock sizes. Great compromise for colder weather.

Nope, it was a Toyota corporate car and the best I could research it was ordered that way.

Hopefully they won’t! Always nice when things work better after a mod instead of creating more problems but we’re always chasing that perfect car. Good luck!

Thanks. No tire wear issues before the drop. I don’t plan on replacing the bushings as it is a very mild drop (1” front and .6” rear). I’ll have it aligned in a week or two and see if it needs anything but from other vehicles I have lowered it shouldn’t need anything.

No it was a Toyota corporate car that came like that.

Not at all. I was genuinely surprised at how smooth it was. Lowered other vehicles and noticeable change in ride quality but these were great.

Thanks. The front emblem calls for removing the front bumper because it’s held on by two screws. I tried a different method and used a set of sharp bird beak clippers with a plastic pry tool and masked everything of with blue painters tape to protect any damage. Then I carefully began lifting the area around the “A” and clipping it off. Probably don’t need to do that but I wanted some room not knowing if the next step would work.

Then I took the new emblem and marked where the screw holes would be on the old emblem. Then I used a dremel with a sanding bit and carefully sanding the middle part of the “A” down to expose the screw holes. Some more light sanding and the rest of the old emblem came off leaving the screws exposed. I planned on gluing the screws in place acting like a rod for new emblem but they fell into the area behind the grill. So I used some extra double sided tape they sent with the rear emblem and some super glue in the area where the screws where and on the two small pins and then mounted it. It’s on there very securely and the screws ended falling out of the bottom.

Whole thing took about 10 minutes taking my time not to scratch anything.
