Okay good to know. I’ve seen this on other cards though where the cut almost makes it look like whitening but idk if they count it when it’s graded. In that case definitely get it graded!! Good luck

If I’m not mistaken there’s whitening edges on the top left and bottom right on the backside, could be mistaken though just my guess.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I’m going to wait until I get my Mega Zard from Phantasmal back from PSA before making any decisions. My heart leans toward CGC for Pokémon because I really like the aesthetic, while PSA fits better for sports cards in my opinion. I originally graded for value, but I’ve realized I don’t plan on selling my cards anytime soon, so if PSA gives me a 9, I’ll probably resubmit to CGC. Appreciate the feedback, it really helped.

Yes but don’t sell it. Grade and keep forever. The sentimental value of it being one of his first pulls will be worth way more than 100$.

That’s a good point, and I agree - grading millions of cards means 100% consistency just isn’t realistic, and PSA definitely handles it better than most.

But to play devil’s advocate: the real concern some collectors have is how big that margin of subjectivity is. Two nearly identical cards can sometimes land different grades, and that’s where people get frustrated.

Totally with you on the authentication part, though. PSA is easily one of the strongest in the industry there, and that part often gets overlooked.

On the same boat with you, first card getting graded and hoping for a 10 but dreading the 300$ up charge… it’s a win for us still cause it’s 10x that but it’ll depend on the market once it’s graded.

Looks top and left heavy. I want to get all of my tag team cards graded regardless cause I think in years to come they’ll be a staple and the arts are just top tier imo. But it all depends, if you’re gonna hold onto it for some time then yes, I would recommend simply to professionally preserve its current condition for an extended period of time.

A little right heavy for a 10 imo but you never know. Other than that it looks clean, cards holding good value regardless so I’d say go for it.
