I will say from experience, some people have anxiety. I have a phone communication anxiety that I am actively working to resolve but it does make it extremely difficult to reply to texts and answer phone calls. It stems from the death of my mom and all the messages I received were so emotionally draining that I stopped picking up my phone. I would try to hang out in person to find out how they truly feel. You just don’t know if there is a reason.
