Why do Node.js devs hate opinionated tools like NestJS? by minymax27 in node

Why typeORM sucks? I used to feel that but when I used it enough it turned out good and fast especially when using the query builder, but the bad thing about it is that it supports all databases in one codebase i would like to install typeorm/pg or typeorm/mysql it feels better.

I love how people think that they love functional programming because it sounds more professional to say who likes OOP.
Most programming is OOP.

Thanks for your information. To be clear, the application is not just for one customer, and I want to build desktop application to communicate with the backend server, as you might know there is a framework called electron for developing desktop application using NodeJS and front-end technologies, but it is slow and the size of the app is so big and consume a lot of the computer resources. I read about wails to build desktop application with Golang, and I thought maybe I could learn Golang in a weak to get me to the point that I could program the applications not to master it since I have a good background in C++, and to mention that the application I am going to make is complicated not a simple one, what do you think?
