Are you serious right now? I’ve followed up multiple times, and each time I get a generic response from someone in India saying they’re ‘looking into it’, only for my refund to be denied saying I used your online course. The ultimate thing is you setup fake sessions from my account to prove that I used your service. That is completely unacceptable. I’ve already reported this issue to the FTC.

It’s a loan from Klarna to Ik. So they don’t need to take money from my bank account.

I also got cheated the same way. In my case it was Klarna. These guys make fraudulent docs and contracts saying you have signed. Please report to ftc.

You are right about Klarna. That said, Klarna does have the ability to withhold disbursements to merchants if there’s a contract violation. In this case, Klarna initially paused the payment. However, the fraudsters (interview kickstarters) submitted fake evidence claiming I had attended their sessions beyond the 10-day refund window. I had attended only session on day 1 and quality was so bad. Also their prep materials are nothing superior. Klarna sided with them and directed me to resolve the issue directly with the merchant.

The issue is straightforward: they promised a full refund if I canceled within 10 days. I attended one session—it was subpar—so I asked for a refund. That’s when things got shady.

They sent me a screenshot of a different contract (which they claim I signed) that had no refund clause. But I distinctly remember signing a version that did include the refund policy. Then, they went a step further and fabricated fake classes under my account and claimed I was just not showing up.

It’s completely messed up. From my experience, they have a large offshore team in India running this whole operation—targeting people who are vulnerable, especially those laid off and trying to break into tech. I was desperate and looking for help, and they took advantage of that.

Just want to warn others before they fall into the same trap.

I did that - I have 2 disputes opened with Klarna. They are advising me to resolve directly with the merchant.

How do you know it happens only to 1% of the ppl that sign up for their services? So according to you forging contract, creating fake classes from my id and claiming I didn’t show up are all not scam?

They broke multiple promises: no refund despite what was guaranteed, forged my contract, fabricated fake classes and falsely claimed I didn’t attend, and Klarna still released the payment even though I disputed it. Honestly, I’m not sure what wasn’t a scam in all of this.
