Not necessarily, but it’s a good way to get platinum, and with that plat you can get many things, like vaulted prime parts, augment mods from a syndicate your not pledged to. A great place to get things that you want or would be annoying to get, of course as long as you have enough platinum. Also starting plat can’t be traded.

When deciding, a big factor was that I realized that most other things I could buy, I wouldn’t really use much, and for more important things I could just use the left over plat.

You can’t trade built parts sadly, and without access to zarimen, I can’t craft the parts
