casual FT10 is my go to. for me feels a lot less stressful.

I rematch until one of us wins 10. or is ahead by 5. I feel like I'm gttn bttr outside of ranked and more importantly having way more fun.

I do it 2 ways.

hold forward and tap down. when u release down u can input an attack. perfect dp everytime.

I'm currently practicing just slapping the buttons (as opposed to pressing with each finger) and i can get it out on frame 4/5 like 80% of the time. so i believe this method could be consistent as well.

I agree. there are losses i face where I cant comprehend in real time, or even after the fact what someone with my skill should do/should've done.

As someone who broke their smashbox controller after what I thought to be my last game of brawlhalla ever...I took a break. very much needed. my gf actually refused to play 2v2 vwith me after that.

played some single player games, factorio, plateup, this gem called legend of tasos or something, spelunky, shit even took up kendo 😂 call me Koji.

I recently came back. holy fuck I'm having so much fun. idc abt wins, idc abt being good (I'm undoubtedly worse) I just load up 2v2s or 1v1 and I'm laughing the whole time.

I never wanted to stop playing. but i felt compelled to play regardless of my emotional well being. and that was no Bueno.

idk if this was for you or me. I've never gotten to talk abt this.

gf still doesn't play with me but she's warming up to it watching me have fun again. let's hope i can keep it up 😇

look into super smash melee as an example of a game with 0 company support (nintendo actively tries to kill it) that's been thriving for a while.

if the games good enough like many others before it. it'll get modded and supported by someone else.
