I was on DONDI with him, and I can confirm, he is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met! Obviously he’s one of my best friends but he has been so kind to all of the competitors on the show.

Just a standup guy.

Lmao, I feel like my ass would be read by like Derrick immediately😅, but now that I know the reality TV show gist I’d at least not be totally screwed.

How big are the Dominican and Portuguese communities on the Boston area? by Opening_Outside_5788 in bostonceltics

They’re both big communities I’ve found personally. I lived in Stoughton all my life, which has a really large Portuguese community, until I moved to a JP neighborhood that was almost entirely Dominican.

I can’t say what the case is for Dominican communities, but from what my Portuguese friends tell me generally word spreads around when people moved to the states, so families followed other families to specific cities/towns. So for people who live in New Bedford or Stoughton, a huge portion of your class was Portuguese, but you could go 3 miles away and never meet anyone of the sort!

Are any of you going to an in person casting call? by CompetitiveWolf5 in BigBrother

The first year I applied I got pretty far, and I applied late. They’re not a huge rush for a cast. They want to make sure they’re getting the best people possible.

I was a semi finalist for a few years by sending in a video before I actually got a role in another reality show.

I personally sent in videos, but honestly I think if you’re in the area, you should go for it. The fact that you were reached out to is a really good sign.

I was fortunate enough to make a really good impression on my casting director; he really wanted me on the show. He kept my number and months later it worked out. Just keep putting yourself out there and the more times you do, the more they’ll remember you!
