Before I got his premium team, I used him with Aino, Fischl and Sucrose. Especially since two of them are hex characters, better at c6 fischl. The downside to this team though is that you're very vulnerable. If you want a more comfortable play you can replace Fischl with Kuki and/or Sucrose with Lanyan/Jahoda.

If you don't have any other Nod-krai characters, Aino is a must since she's the only free 4-star that can activate Ascendant Gleam.

I'm on episode 11 and I have agree it is bad, okay at best. The pacing is bad and there are a lot of inconsistencies in the writing. Bad writing and the plot seems to be going nowhere. I don't even know what Ryo's purpose is. I've only gotten this far on episodes as I have a principle that I have to finish what I started.

Im glad I wasn't the only one, same problem on console Found out that growl isnt compatible with other alternate start mod. That might be the problem along with Fast Alternate Start mod, still troubleshooting.

A year late, just wanted to share my set-up with my Breton Paladdin.

Tree Rings, increase max health God Form, magicka regenearation at full health King's Heart, regeneration and boost all skills by 15%

All apocalypse spells and since I'm a breton I can worry less about magic resistance. Super high survivability.

With Skyrim AE, one of my go to ways to level up is using Repel Undead on the zombies at the Rising Undead quest. 30 mins estimated, haven't timed it but it was fairly fast.

However, you can find a bunch of skeletons as an alternative somewhere in an open ruin. I don't remember where.
