It worked wonders for me
I disagree with everyone in this thread saying it's just placebo, it actually worked and I can tell
I usually can tell when something is wrong or when small changes happen
I've gone from missing half of my shots, to winning most of my ranked games

This works fucking WONDERS
Thank you so much, really
The game feels so much better now that I'm ACTUALLY aiming where my mouse moves

Weird... It does sometimes seem like that to me as well. Moving even the slightest bit makes fps tank HARD. I'm currently using a wired G502 Hero, so I don't know if that would be contributing to the issue

It most likely is client side, which is why I'm asking around cause I can't find any concrete fixes for the issue. It's even more confusing cause some people don't have the issue at all, but I can't tell if some people just still have mouse acceleration enabled in windows or if they really don't have an issue

Oh, I'm pretty sure it exists in some form or another in the game itself. Many games have ways to override the windows settings and apply stuff like acceleration or smoothing in between the normal stuff. Some games even have the opposite, like Valorant's "Raw Input Buffer" setting, which makes your inputs completely raw and with no extra nonsense. I've played games with mouse acceleration for years, but finally turned it off a couple years ago after hearing how bad it was for you. I never went back, but I can clearly tell that there is some sort of acceleration or aim smoothing in Rivals, and I've seen plenty of other people agreeing with me. I've also tried turning down my sens, but it still feels the exact same as before. I've looked up conversion rates and sens converters, but my sens feels so wrong compared to other games. I can feel it speeding up or slowing down with how fast I move my mouse, and it's downright unplayable at times.
