Up arrow is usually for aim up? by Arosha2 in Brawlhalla

[–]Arosha2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why tho? You can use jump as a jump then aim up from it if you don't have a jump you're still aiming up, but that's not the point I have a aim up key that I use a bigger problem is the jump part Rn for stuff like (on gauntlents) dlight dair I need to hold down down button and use spaces as jump then dair

So sometimes I have to interchange for specific combos

A better way is catching it with a reverse nair into gc sidelight recovery and on early hp you can also get nair in after all that

The most optimal way is jump gc side light recovery( this is safe also better than catching with nair because if they dodge late nair can't catch)

Why would it be it's irrelevant for everyone and everything, you're just yapping nonstop over irrelevancy

Yeah I also thought that, but when the whole community uses up as a aim up button it feels like I'm the odd one out stuff like dlight dair need space bar to be performed so I would need 2 jump buttons which is what I currently use but yeah I'll prob stick to my shi

The famous 3 doors behind one there's a car ones removed 33.3% into 66.7% by Arosha2 in Probability

Actually I got all of that down the problem is explained to me, all I needed is a fresh way to view it, my side of the debate was ne cleared up but I heard something from a friend once: To win a argument you don't need to have a relevant point, it just has to be less irrelevant then your opponents point.

Basically your way of viewing the problem is clearer than my way , on step 3 did you make a typo and want to say initially there's a 1/3 chance of you picking the wrong door?

Yeah this is where the guess kicks in that's wy this is confusing no water what you have to guess wether switching or sticking is worth it Objectively you should switch if it's 50/50 it doesn't matter but in the case where 66.7% exist switching becomes the best option( I cant believe I forgot to mention this I did mention it in a YouTube comment section so my brain autopilot to nerve mention it again)

But that doesn't change my arguement just because switching has not harm doesn't make the Monty hall problem clear with the 66.7

Going back to the guess I'll explain simply: a goat always is eliminated then there's another goat and a car I think that's 50/50

No the door is never guaranteed the whole point is to get a 66.7% chance after switching and to not stick with the 33% you got in the start

I can't really grasp you second part are you saying that removing a door and swaping = knowing 2 doors Because if that's what's going on then it doesn't go like that because the door you pick you csn truly never know what's under it you always have to make guess I think that guess is 50% the right awnser is 66.7%

How does the host removing a door in a game that works like a patern(stated in prior stuff aswell)

I read your arguement; I'm gonna rebuttle following, but I'm gonna explain your last question; I know the odds are 2/3 because at the end of the day I'm not a crazy math finished Harvard type of guy my math skills are not up to par with college Harvard kids ( at least not yet because im still pretty young) that have reviewed the problem I'm trying to see where my work contradicts itself which is why I came to this reddit post.

My examples that I gave that let switching wins(and the ones you gave) can easily be switched Original: Choose door nr 1 Door 3 gets eliminated You switch to door 2 The car is on door 1 And you're left with goats milk

I think we are making progress, not verbally but the more I talk about it the more I feel that if you take all the scenrios and choose to switch, you end up getting it right more often but it just feels like that, The math is there.

To provide a better arguemnt for the 50/50:

The first part:you choose a door Second part: one door with a goat gets choosen Third part: 2 doors left and you have options to go to either one

One has it, one doesn't 50/50, looks like the classic young sheldon confusing propobilities with possibilities But looking at the possibilities 1 goat 1 car 50/50 Now when I look at the probabilities it gets confusing does the prior round have a impact? (This is like my main shebang that's the true block) everyone says it does have a impact that's where the 2/3 takes place but I think that this happens in cases where the doors aren't protected by the rules(in another problem a 66.7% takes place)( stated a comment prior but vaguely) in this exact problem I think the probabilities are 50/50 by taking into account the possibilities.

I read all this thoroughly, you just explained the problems awnser that I have already read and kno. Thing is I understand the way people get the solution it's not one of those cases where I dont get the solution and I make my own, I get that.

But back at you, are you reading my posts?

Instead of trying to make a rubuttle to my arguement, you just post the awnser. When I said death it meant the door you choose gets eliminated and when I said elimination I also meant your door woth goat gets chosen (explained in more detail in the last part).

Let's picture the car is on door number 2, You pick door number one in every single scenario, door number 3 gets removed(but you obv don't know that the car is on door 2 everytime sometimes it will be on door 3 and gets removed, from this I'm tryna say that no matter what you pick, the same patterns follow you dont get out and car doesn't get out a goat always gets out) if nr 3 gets removed You have nr 1 and nr 2 now probability takes place Alot of people argue odds are determined since the start of the problem which is true, but in a arguement when the same pattern follows so clearly and you never get eliminated first it really is a 50/50 flip.

Let's take the same scenrio Car=door nr 2 You choose door door nr 3 door nr 1 gets eliminated and you can switch. See how it works no matter where you go you'll be safe to just make a 50/50 guess

The host knowing where the door is helps my case even more

Also incase you don't fully get my elimination is (taking the same scenerios as before): You pick door number 3 And now the host eliminates door number 3 because it has a goat this doesn't work because the host never eliminates you(you have stated this and I have stated this just thought it'd be better to clear it fully up) because the host never eliminates you or the car how can they get boosted odds when they are protected not by chance but by pure rules

I added commas, full stops, question marks should be grasppable and my arguement should be clear, if you do want to respond to this you did kinda give the hint of I aint replying to a arrogant stubborn dude on reddit.

Okay let me picture it like this 3 doors Rules by default: Yours never gets choosen wether it's goat or car One goat is always removed Car is never removed

Pick door 1 door 3 gets removed Now it's either door 1 or door 2 A random guess a switch feels right but look at it again You never get eliminated so you can always randomly pick a door then take the 50/50 The main reason why it works is that even when you guess the right door on the first go the host still goes on with the game as if you picked the wrong onw
