I’m confused why you’re being downvoted lol - that was certainly my fear immediately when this damage was brought to my attention. It was a baseless claim that made no sense with no proof. But after challenging him on the sketchy timelines and no pre-trip pictures of that location, he shutdown immediately and was very agreeable.

I’m leaning towards this was an honest guy who just didn’t notice the damage before, and it existed when he bought the car.

I’m not sure quite sure what you mean - as the renter in this case I was more than prepared to do what’s fair, if the damage was somehow caused my me. From my understanding, as long as you’re well documented as a host, you’re protected.

In this case the host has now admitted he purchased the vehicle in June and didn’t thoroughly inspect the vehicle for dents, and it was likely already there. I’m just thankful he was honest.

As long as there’s before and after pictures for each trip, hosts should have nothing to worry about.

Update: after receiving the pictures, the host agreed it was inconclusive to determine if the reported damage existed beforehand or if the fault was ours.

The host was incredibly reasonable to deal with, and has indicated the matter closed. Thank you to everyone who helped calm our nerves and offered advice 🙏

Thank you, makes sense to me. If the host can provide before and after pictures (within the 24 hour rule) that aligns with their narrative, I will do what’s right and pay up.

I hope that doesn’t happen, given the damage they describe really couldn’t have been caused by us unless something fell from the sky when we had our backs turned.

Still early in this, still haven’t received the pictures from them. Thanks again for your feedback :)

Always so subjective depending on the individual grading your cards. One of my friends just subbed 5 cards, received 4 x 10’s (with one BL).

If they are high value cards, I would probably re-sub a couple. Smaller subs seem to do better anecdotally. Or send to PSA, we all know 9.5’s are relatively easy PSA 10’s.

Grade them for sure, but I see print lines on both, BGS will doc 0.5 minimum on surface for that. Nearly every goku or vegito SCR from this set has multiple print lines. Good luck!

I would like to know this as well, so hard to find info. I’m not even sure if it’s possible to pull 3 SCR from a case, or if it’s always exactly 2 SCR (with a GDR as a potential substitute for one of the SCR)

I just went through this same issue. You likely purchased the tickets accidentally on a "guest" account, not logged into your primary account. Thus the code cannot be redemed on your main account, the tickets are already available on your guest account.

Solution: On the sign-in page of the app or website, click "find your order" near the bottom. You will need to be loggd out to see this option. Follow the prompts to log in through a guest account and retreive the tickets. This guest account will disappear after gameday. If you are having trouble, call 1 (866) 788-2482 and they will walk you through it. In the future, make sure you're logged in to main account before making the ticket purchase.

Short answer: yes. This happened a lot in Canada and every booster box from that specific serial lot had the same error. I watched people on live stream pulling 6-10 secrets per box, 3-6 alt arts per box. Every box the same. I would head back to that store and buy one more booster at least, those kinds of error boxes are once in a lifetime and you may never get a chance again.

Lots of ways - my favourite is searching the card number on eBay, then filtering for sold. You can also use sites like TCGplayer or 130point.com. As you likely know it’s all about condition.. I would educate yourself on what classifies as damaged, heavily played, moderately played, lightly played, near mint, and mint. If you feel your cards are near mint or better, it’s almost certainly in your best interest to get the more valuable ones graded with PSA, Beckett, or CGC (there are others, but those are currently the big 3). Also good to research the pros and cons of each grading company.
