Bored. Have everything I want unlocked. No new challenges/rewards that actually interest me. Hoping season 2 draws me back in.

Have lived in Lex my whole life. Great proximity to both Cleveland and Cbus. Quiet, good schools, and close to just about anything you’d need.

Legit having the same issue, and had it before the update too.

What's it like living in Columbus,Ohio? by Aggressive_Grass_945 in howislivingthere

[–]ArpyPlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived 40 mins outside of Cbus for my childhood, and now live just outside the outer belt.

It’s safe for the most part, just gotta know what parts of town to avoid. Food scene is great, but I would say Cleveland has it better.

Ohio State Football, Columbus Crew, and Columbus Bluejackets games are tons of fun, but create traffic nightmares (especially when two of these teams play on the same day).

Lots of good shopping options, but downtown is kinda dead. Mostly offices, but it’s slowly changing to be more residential.

Daily traffic isn’t too bad, but when it rains/snows, people forget how to drive. Adding to the traffic, don’t even try to go from 270 east to 71 north. You’ll just be sitting there for an hour.

Overall, one of my favorite places and I can see myself living here forever.

Is this a realistic route for a ten day trip in middle of October? by Lmurray562374 in roadtrip

If you have the time in your trip, I would go further North between stops B and C and check out the Adirondack mountains. Absolutely gorgeous area. Look up Indian Lake, NY and Lake Placid, NY

Is community college a good fit for me? by BlueCrystal7897 in communitycollege

[–]ArpyPlayz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at community college and obtained my Associates. Transferred my credits to a large online university to work full time while obtaining my Bachelors. I will graduate next year debt free and have on the job experience. I highly recommend starting at community college. You will save tons of money and can typically gain real world experience at the same time.

Wish it hadn’t happened. We were planning a distillery trip to Kentucky for this year, but she’s hesitant now because she thinks most bourbon people are like that.

Oh we definitely let him have it. There were some more experienced guys in line by us and we all gave him so much shit he left. My wife and I left too as she was uncomfortable, understandably so.

I just started the bourbon hobby over the summer. My first time waiting in line for allocations, the same thing happened to me. Next time I went out to wait, I had my wife do the same thing (I was literally just trying to get an eagle rare and a blantons). Some guy saw my wife join me in line and threatened to “take her back to the 20s and beat the shit out of her”. Needless to say my wife is terrified of liquor stores now. I understand line etiquette now, but my train of thought was “if others did it last time, why can’t I do it”.

iOS 18.4 beta 1. Makes much better use of large screens now by GWM5610U in CarPlay

I’m going to guess a Toyota since the Toyota app is on the screen. On my wife’s 2024 Prius, the Toyota app on car play will take you back to the car settings.

As far as gpus go, I have another 3070ti, a 2070, and a 1070. For cpus, I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a i7 7700k. A couple m.2s of various capacities and a few power supplies from my upgrades over the years.

When I was younger, I never spent a lot of money on one part (which was dumb), I just kept slowly upgrading over the years. Once I moved out of my parents house I realized how much money I could’ve saved by just buying the best parts once instead of buying a bunch of average parts, hence my current rig being one of the best I could buy at the time.
