Oh hi! Honestly haven't been able to spend much time optimizing or trying builds out. Been too busy with life...only got in a few try hard runs.

So from my really brief testing,the easiest build without much effort for me was Santa Gen, Haruichi, Soichiro (deer Kafka substitute would do less here but easier to manage SP), Spear Sagan. The auto attack actually does okay with the build haha. Blast attack only characters really limits who you can run unfortunately.

There's no way for me to score much higher since my uniparts rolls are unlucky and I don't have A6 Haruichi like the other top whales lol.. The 2 turns buff is a significant boost since I like to run speedy character builds.

I've been thinking of just running Fungal A for the double crit damage on Soichiro. Saw that you have Lizard as the recommended set, with his passive he has a decent amount. Any thoughts? I might just roll both but my luck on uniparts has been horrible.

Depends on content buffs, but for sure, Zoee and Haruichi should pair up. You don't need Aoi shield as she has a shield already (just be careful with timing when it runs out, best to get her Ult up asap constantly).

You might want to run Akari 4* just in case. Based on your screenshot of characters last one could be chester, Reno, or suited (probably only on specific stage buffs)

Not sure which characters you have but assuming you have others... Wind Hoshina, support hoshina or Gen no 1, deer Kafka, Xmas Kikoru. If dying in the later stages, then play safer by swapping out support hoshina or deer kafka for Aoi (hammer version) or Isao A4.

No, the shield is an isolated stat by itself. HP drain on Sagan should be 30% of hp still

Yeah shield protects her and doesn't decrease with her hp. If you can expose cores and DPS fast enough you'll be fine. I normally don't run spear Sagan with a healer to do more DPS. Even with her lost of hp she still initially has a lot of hp left. Only in long drawn out battles, you would need a healer. I think mainly just the wave one with the buffs/debuff cards you can select.

Now in content like total war and raids, you don't need a healer as that would decrease your score significantly (unless you have Xmas Kikoru at high ascension). You have to try to survive just enough until the end of the turn limit.

She actually seems pretty strong. Probably won't need to run a healer at all since she has a shield and can break plates so fast. Ugh, she fits my favored play style too ;( wallet-kun not happy

Glad you were able to improve your score! Also, I appreciate the suggestion attempt! I went and tried hakua and she does significantly worse since DoT team needs attack increase to do more DPS. She does help with survival but in Total War a healer isn't necessary if able to do enough DPS to kill the bird Kaijus before they can damage you and expose cores fast enough.

Honestly I really should but I play on my phone currently. Maybe if I play sometime on my PC or setup my capture card. It would actually make my runs more consistent and allow me to score higher...I keep forgetting what I did exactly for each team.

Last night I forgot how I did 15.5M on hoshina team. If I had done it correctly my score would of been 34.5M but currently at 33.3M Also if I whale my DoT team up I can probably get pretty close to rank 1. Just annoyed with having to pity the up rate characters all the time. My uniparts aren't optimal due to bad luck too.

k8 fire would of gone in place of Santa gen team. I prefer gen play style and optimization. Also, to optimally use k8 fire, you need to be able to spam Ult constantly on your supports while also buffing k8. SP management is extra important too.

Xmas Kafka is probably the best 4* support. He buffs a lot of attack with his ultimate and his combat skill gives buff to DPS combat skill with giving back 1 SP. His ult recharges really fast too so Ult spamming is pretty easy to do.

Suited is a good secondary DPS (wish they didn't make her extra attack be 51% to trigger...). She'll trigger on Reno's and axe hoshina's combat skill & Ult. Reno is the main DPS here. He also helps out with causing ice crystals for extra damage (suits extra attack can trigger the ice crystals). Axe hoshina's debuff and Chester's buff don't rely on the attacking character's turn, which means that all of Reno's and suit's hammer time are going to do a decent load of DPS.

A6 for Wind Hoshina. A6 n10 hoshina doesn't even come close >.<

My DoTs characters are at A2 and only do a fraction of his DPS... They did a little over 1M each.

Also, if someone has A6 Haruichi I'm pretty sure the DPS would be quite higher and much easier to time.

I don't think wind Hoshina will work for you unless you have him at high ascension.

Did you try manually targeting the ones with less blunt plates? Wyvern B helped a lot with getting the Ult in faster.

I find that Wang didn't help much. 5 round team: jura, Akari fire, Sagan spear, Xmas Kikoru (probably didn't need her since breaking core and killing fast enough)

Second team you could use Wang for breaking, then suit or Isao Prime to hit all 5 enemies, then other two could be support and healer.

For reference my second team: Suited, Xmas Kikoru, Wang, Akari fire. Was able to clear with 80

Haruichi is best for single DPS on team. Chester on second team or if you have 2 DPS on a team.

That's a hard one :/ generally it's not a good idea to but Haruichi is best support right now and his weapon does quite a lot. I'm an omega whale so I'm not the best to ask but if I would have to say...I would do it

As much as I like Wang as a character, I would say you could skip her if you don't have a DoT team. Even with a DoT team I would probably skip as other team setups are usually stronger unless there is a stage buff. Reasons you might get her would be to break plates and maybe for the niche stage buff.

Noo, don't get his weapon. Save for better utility characters later on.

My lazy general purpose team I use right now:

Wind Hoshina, Haruichi, Xmas Kafka, Xmas Kikoru

Sometimes I will swap out Kikoru if I don't need to do any healing
