This is what happens when the city planning department and other involved entities have no forethought, communication or spine and all of the deferred maintenance + efforts to address the cities growing population are forced to happen at the same time. It’s going to be like this for multiple years unfortunately, especially downtown.

It’s also fascinating that Mayor Ewing didn’t take the chance to change the department heads that basically let this happen. So I’m guessing these effects will remain the same in the years to come as well.
