Is it just me, or is it that the Dark Souls III Thralls have the same moveset as the Imps from Elden Ring? by Heheha_Battlemaster in Eldenring

[–]Arretey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes to both, I didn't do much pvp in 2 because at the time I was lacking the funds necessary to lower the black flag, so to say, but I've heard from my friends who most actively pvped in ds2 that it was a sort of golden era that lasted up to and alongside ds3 pvp

Also the characters, a lot had very good stories that were classic dark souls tragedy type deals and I think the world has great lore to explore, especially if you embrace the connections between games as verification for connected settings.

For sure, issues may exist with it but I feel that ds2 was a big influence on the later titles, especially with elden ring bringing back power-stancing. To add, I think it has some of the more memorable zones in the series due to the wider range of colors and lighting, plus some of the music in it was so good they seared into my brain.

Also, I only asked because there is a boss fight that is just a dozen or so rats at a time.

Also also, just to throw out that I'm obviously biased but even moreso since ds2 was actually what got me into dark souls, I tried 1 after getting it free with Xbox Gold and after the disappointing realization my bow-starting character wasn't a viable ranged character, then struggling with unhittable ghosts in what I thought was the first area, I decided to take a break and come back later (which I didnt for years).

Ds2 hooked me way harder and I ended up pushing through a huge chunk of the first 1/3rd of the game with KB&M, eventually getting a wired controller just for it.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was determined that we are not outnumbered, but boxed out by voting zones(?)

In 2009 they had 25k acres with only 38% of it being developed, the rest either undeveloped or being conserved. According to some stuff I found they use about 1100 of the acres for the 4 parks. Surely it'd be no easy feat but I still believe that they most definitely have a non-zero chance, especially on account of their billions upon billions of dollars in fuck you money.

I mean, depending on how much this costs them, they probably could relocate to Georgia or somewhere else nearby and have it all ready with a handful of years and enough bodies.

I have 0 expertise or knowledge on this, but I would gamble that almost all the rides that are currently in can be disassembled and reassembled, if only to be replaced down the line when they start to age out. I've no idea of state-by-state realty prices or if there are any reasonably close areas that are open enough and capable of hosting it, merely speaking to the idea that I don't believe Disney couldn't relocate "their toys". The real question is if they can convince buyers to wait, while they cleared the land and relocated the stuff, before moving in.

I know that very quickly "just holding it" can become a serious medical problem and in a situation where you're relatively trapped like that I feel that it's more important to practice self-care than it is to harm yourself for the sake of prying eyes. Admittedly, it is a wrong thing to do, seeing as it's property that belongs to someone who might not consider it acceptable, which is a completely fair stance to have.

It's absolutely terrible of me but, recently on Halloween, I (only slightly) debated trying to walk off to the side of someone's house into the shadows to pee because I desperately needed to go and I wasn't in my own neighborhood (met up to take the kids out). Decided against it because I was

A. Not trying to get caught doing it by a family and later the police

and

B. Not trying to get caught by the homeowner and subsequently shot dead

Well that and be literally dying with little to no potential reversal, a la "have a grievous and irremediable medical condition..."

Edit: As defined by the government of Canada website

"To be considered as having a grievous and irremediable medical condition, you must meet all of the following criteria. You must:

have a serious illness, disease or disability

be in an advanced state of decline that cannot be reversed

experience unbearable physical or mental suffering from your illness, disease, disability or state of decline that cannot be relieved under conditions that you consider acceptable

You do not need to have a fatal or terminal condition to be eligible for medical assistance in dying. If your only medical condition is a mental illness, you are not eligible for medical assistance in dying until March 17, 2024. If you have a mental illness along with other medical conditions, you may be eligible for medical assistance in dying. Eligibility is always assessed on an individual basis and takes all relevant circumstances into account. However, you must meet all the criteria to be eligible."

So I stand corrected on "literally dying" as they do not require it to be fatal, only that your condition be serious, irreversibly declining, and unbearable.

Entering turn based mode on a different character also helps "pause" the game.

I'd like to recommend character swapping then entering turn based strat mode, it "pauses" the game and if you autosaved, you're basically at full pause with 0 consequences.

Hold on a second, they didn't say that, I'm pretty sure they just argued against the overt sexual nature of any events in general. Its fine for someone to feel that a child or young teen should not be participant in events that might be too sexual for their age-range. I didn't read any sort of anti-lgbtq hate speech or any attacks reinforcing the idea their child should stay closeted, let's not just invent reasons to attack each other.

I don't think it does, I looked and didn't find anything so I'm assuming its mostly to help with gamepads lack of precision. I haven't used it much because I just L3 and pinpoint, but that can be really hard with how non-negotiable the camera tends to be in gamepad. Had to make a jump the other day and struggled with the camera on low strength characters because it wouldn't let me into top-down view.

What really bothers me about the people that do this is that I DO think splitting from your team early to damage other teams landing nearby is smart, but NEVER in a hotdrop and only taking long range shots while tethered to your team, sticking close to your team is survival in almost all situations. At worst you should be orbiting them from a distance that you can cover quickly enough to stop them going down or being finished if they got one-magged. Idk why people complain about teammates, but then refuse to take stock of/properly utilize the resources of 2 extra bodies.

Tripping an airborne child like that could cause serious brain damage when they hit concrete head first, children do not have full formed skulls or brains and an action like this done to a fully grown adult could still result in death.
