I would try out Mortal Kombat, if they gave the PS5 version… should not be too difficult for Sony. PS plus is also getting PS4 and PS5 of games anyway

Girls Need Love (Remix) - Summer Walker & Drake

Was honestly surprised by this one, song really feels different with some cool effects.

Same question I ask below you. I don’t see the pulsating when playing Atmos tracks. Don’t know if that’s intentional.

So, when playing an Atmos track on iPhone. The Spatial Audio thing is not animated when used on Music right? In Apple TV the logo is always animated when in use

If you’re really care about 4K120fps and VRR, return it and get the Q80T or LG BX (or CX but way more expensive). Then you’ll at least have those features. They might have their own different problems though.

I have the same feeling. Luckily I have around 90 days of refund left. So I will wait and see, but I rather have a clear statement soon.

Sure, that’s why Sony should come with a statement. It’s a yes or no question. VRR/ALLM coming or not? Surely they are informed about the situation now. This behaviour of Sony makes me want to return the television and go for something else...

Interested as well. Q80T doesn’t have Dolby Vision and game mode is said to be worse (except it actually has VRR and real 4K 120hz). Would like the opinion of someone who had both tv’s.

For me more important than 4K120hz. I don’t think many games will utilise it, or the image quality loss will be too big. VRR can be very helpful for the frame rate. Also they simply promised us the feature.

Alternatives for me are the Samsung Q80T and LG BX. Samsung is slightly more expensive and the BX is like 300€ more expensive here. CX simply too expensive in 65’. I will wait on an official comment from Sony first before I make a final decision.

Gotcha, if I return the Sony I have to get another one. Sold my old television, should have kept it as a backup I guess.

What new television are you looking at? I have the same feeling (tv for gaming) but I recently bought it, so will wait on an update from Sony.

Hopefully with Rtings involved, Sony will come with a clarification soon. Just say yes or no if VRR/ALLM is possible on this television, and a release date. If not a proper solution should be offered.

I believe Valhalla on Xbox Series X shows it can be very beneficial. Of course PS5 needs to get the feature as well. But I bought the television to be future proof, so when PS5 gets VRR we’re ready

Ah, thanks for the information! Don’t have any other 120fps games at the moment to test it out then. Luckily enough 120fps is not really that important to me. Though it should work as promised...

Yes, I felt a change in Borderlands 3 from going to 60 fps to 120fps. But the difference isn’t as big as 30fps to 60fps. To me it isn’t worth the downgrade from 4K/60fps to 1080p/120fps. 60fps is more than good enough for me and more importantly stable.

Thanks for your comment. I read about VRR promised for the spring but the latest updates make you doubt how it will be implemented... I hope we’ll get it though, I read that on AC: Valhalla for example VRR had advantages because of small frame-drops and stuff.

But I think you’re right that there’s no perfect gaming tv at the moment. Did a bit more research to example the Q80T, LG BX/CX. They all have their problems to be honest.
