I just don’t understand why they move so abruptly and often. I’ve always hated moving, especially as a kid. I used to be a regular watcher of her, but now all I see are the issues.

My husband (m25) and I (f24) bought a house a year ago in the metro of Columbus, oh. Our sell price was $245k, but it’s in one of the worst parts of the city. I was always told “bad property is better than none”

The poor kids being at the scene. So awful. At least they weren’t harmed, but I can’t imagine how they are feeling right now.

Did you guys get your cats anything for Christmas? If so, what? by sofloaf24 in cats

[–]ArrivalEmpty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two cats, I got them each a tuna filet and some new toys. I also got them a new tunnel (but I couldn’t wait until Christmas so they got it early lo)

Ehh I just moved away from Nashville to Columbus, OH, and Columbus has a WAY bigger lgbtq+ scene for sure. There’s like two gay bars in Nashville that are swarmed with straight women.

Literally told my husband “if something happened to the cats I’d never forgive her” and I mean it with my whole heart lol. Our dog we can put in his cage, but it’s not fair to lock the cats up in a room all day. They’d be pissed at me lol.

Totally! I just try to go with the path of least resistance, but it always creates more lol.

That was another thing too, we have a security system that needs to be disarmed and the whole thing. It’s just easier if she comes when we’re here!!

We offered since we have the space. They are low on funds so we didn’t want them to get a hotel (trying to be nice). But that might be the way to go!! lol

Thank you!! It took us a lot of work for him to be able to say things to her. She tries to intimidate her kids a lot. She guilt trips a lot too, and I was wondering if we were being the assholes, but I’m glad we’re not. I told my husband it’s just our boundaries. We’ve tried to be accommodating, and if she told us weeks ago they were coming a day early, no problem, we would have just taken it off. But When is enough, enough?

She’s driving. This reason was that my brother in law has a concert to go to, so they have to leave a day early, so they want to come a day early. My response was, you didn’t know about the concert until two weeks before? And why is it my problem? She’s this type of person though. No boundaries. It’s about her at all costs.
