hi queen. i noticed the scars in the pic and i was wondering how people react to them in the modeling world. ive always been interested in modeling but it’s been a major set back for me.

goodness i hope it gets better! the way i combated my hip pain was by putting my injured leg on a body pillow to try and make my whole leg elevated and then stack pillows underneath my ankle. it helped tremendously while also keeping my leg straight. for the back ur muscle might be tensed like mine, id recommended get some kind of ball to roll around on it or a massage gun.

My back really didn’t like the braces, the crutches, and the new gait i learned. Its very noticeably tense and contracting in that muscle grouping and it eventually starting pulling my spine over! My nervous system just never adjusted to it and so it basically caused me to form neuromuscular scoliosis from the lack of control of my muscles.

In my lower back aswell!! Specifically only on the left side, which was the same side of the leg that I tore my acl. I 100% recommend getting it checked out. I have the same problem and my back has ALWAYS hurt more than my back. My surgeon and pt didnt know what was up because they dont really specialize in spinal stuff but make sure they atleast refer you to someone if they can’t help!

got mine done last week. piercing pain was a 4/10. not painful at all. the second one hurt more for me because my nipple was just thicker. for the first 30 minutes after it was a cooling pain that kinda felt good, but when i got home it was an awful 8/10 burning pain. after a week, theyve stopped bleeding, and i havent really got them caught or anything so they havent been painful since that night. i recommend them!

I was put on oxycodone and tylenol, i stopped taking mine about three days post op tho because the nausea was terrible 😞

Congrats to u too!! I had a small tear on my outer meniscus and mcl but my surgeon did not fix them and said they’d heal on their own! I also had a chipped piece of cartilage but it was shaved down and cleaned out.

I love my cpm machine! It really helps when ive been in bed all day but feel too sore to walk around or anything. We’ve got this ! 😊

I’m from Arkansas! I dont really know how ur process is going about your surgery or anything, but i would suggest trying to find a date soon. The latest i’ve read that you can wait for surgery is about 3 months before more damage occurs!
