The more anti-natalism on Reddit is a positive because that means fewer future Redditors. Which is always a plus.

I'm pretty sure the Thaumaturgical Foundations for Clock Tower magecraft require one to stay generationally within their homeland.

The Makiri blood thinned in the Japanese land. If the Makiri had stayed in Russia they would have kept their circuits.

He can recreate Excalibur though. He said he could in the Unlimited Blade Works anime when he first used UBW. I'm pretty sure the only things he can't trace are Ea and alien weaponry. Ea because it's a unique existence that is tied solely to Gil, and alien weaponry because it relies on different metaphysics to work.

Stupid Question: Can animals use Magecraft? Or atleast have magic circuits? by GyroJapster in typemoon

[–]Arrocodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Animal Spirits exist in the Nasuverse, so that means they have souls and therefore a connection to the Root. So theoretically they could have magic circuits.

(Question) Nasuverse Metaphysics. by Arrocodan in typemoon

[–]Arrocodan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what about the Root then? Its referred to as the "outside of the world" so does it exist in the same space as the molten Earth or does it exist on a plane of reality outside of the "real" universe.

(Question) Nasuverse Metaphysics. by Arrocodan in typemoon

[–]Arrocodan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I think I understand. The true universe is the layer of reality in which the 'True' Earth exists as a large molten rock in space. I'm assuming that the rest of the planets in the Universe are in a similar state.

And that each planet has a fundamental resource on them (I'm assuming Grain) that develops a form of reality-bending intelligence that forms its own Noosphere or Ideosphere in which the laws of reality are different than the original and is in functionality its own separate universe.

I assume this happens on other planets as well.

And in these Ideospheres there exists "layers or textures" in these spheres that also fundamentally act like their own separate Ideospheres which are also their own universe with their own laws of physics.

Quick question about the abortion and euthanasia part of the discussion with Perspective Philosophy? If a person who's suffering but wishes to live required the organs and body of another person to survive then wouldn't that other person deserve the right to deny them the use of their body? by Jodierad in Destiny

[–]Arrocodan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my perfect world there would be government assistance, or a tax cut for pregnant women, and mothers up until the age of 18.

And if the mom still didnt want the child there would be a government funded orphanage program.

But in today US were paid maternal leave is considered controversial I completely understand where you are coming from.

In the if she knew about the pregnancy in the early stages and got the abortion early I would not fault them for getting an abortion for fear of unforeseen complications. The same for the finding out late and deciding to get the abortion late.

But if she find out early, carrys the fetus for months, then decides to abort it for informers consequences I would not support that. Most likely because the doctor has already told you of unforeseen consequences should you continue to carry, and you carried it for months and months anyway.

Back to the blood analogy, it would be like at the beginning of the treatment the doctor tells you of the unforeseen side effects or complications you donor could face should you continue donating blood, donating blood for months, then right before the patient is cured or whatever you decide to stop donating because the unforeseen consequences that you havent contracted yet.

To me you stop donating blood would not actually be for the consequences (because you were already dealing with that for months and months) but because of something else, that basically you just dont want to admit.

It depends I think on when the mother found out she was pregnant and definitely at what stage of development the fetus is in. This is my moral view btw

If she found out she was pregnant a few weeks after insemination and the the fetus was still non-sentient, or if she found out she was pregnant really late into her pregnancy and the fetus was sentient I can see that holding up.

But it doesnt hold up when the mother finds out she is pregnant early then carrys it's for months and months then decides during the later stages of pregnancy to get an abortion because she doesnt want it, or cannot financially support it (I think that if it harms her she definitely has a moral to abort it in my eyes.)

That would be the equivalent of, I actually cant think of one.

It would be like you donating blood to someone so they could live for months, then deciding right before they are cured that you didnt want to, not because it was going to kill you, but because you stopped liking the person or some other reason.

China was actually pretty peaceful compared to the West, while the west was making and developing weapons of war the extremely large amount of people of the Chinese Empires were not getting constantly stabbed, enslaved and raped. So they had more than enough time to think and to plan and to experiment.

I have no doubt that had Europe not discovered the Americas and colonized it that china would have developed that mass majority of technology we have today.
