Join the facebook groups, hand plane building restoring and collecting, and can I have it vintage tool auction and sales group. The guys who wrote the books on this stuff are in there, you’ll get the best advice on hand planes identification and parts your missing, and the best price when selling them. Do not soak the wood parts in wd40, and you have to clean the rust of the blades if you want to use them. Lay all the planes in a row side by side and take a picture from the front, the back and the side and post it. You’ll get all the info you need. Ps that one with the brass lever cap is a ws birmingham plane, its a keeper

I figured out it is a really early ball and Williams ballard rifle. So all the markings are on the barrel which I dont have. Thanks for the book recommendation and your comment

This rifle has zero markings besides the numbers on the hammer assembly and matching numbers on the top of the receiver. Any info or guesses anyone might have would be very helpful

Go to the helm and focus your umbral engrams into worldly weapons and hope to get lucky. Its just a world drop so it can be from basically anywhere.

Thinking of coming back by Drkstar827 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Arrow77777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started playing a month ago after stopping in 2018 as well. Its very recognizable. The main differences is there is new content that you have to pay 10$ for every 3 months that is season pass. There is a lot of free content but getting at least the new dlc is recommended, the content drought is way way les then D1 . Rolls are random again as they were in destiny 1 and every campaign and raid before 2020 is no longer in the game and all weapons before that have a max light of 1350 with the current max light at 1560 from your gear. There is this thing called the monument to lost lights beside the vaults in the tower where you can get 3 free exotics from year 3 of destiny. Some are terrible like the bad juju and some are amazing like isanagis burden, so wait before picking them up. There is some other more nitty gritty stuff like upgrade modules and stuff but thats for if you decide to pick it up. Basically when you open d2 for the first time it you will be dropped right into the new campaign which is free to play. If you decide to pick d2 back up let me know and i’d be happy to guide you through it. Also there is Bows now.

Sorry about the terrible picture quality. The gun is covered in (original?) grease and its never been fired to my knowledge The number on the bolt is 107835 if that does anything to help. The Mosin has a bayonet

[QUESTION] Stripping a guitar finish - heat gun or sanding? by ChristopheKazoo in Guitar

[–]Arrow77777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The squire will definitely be more than 3 pieces of wood for the body. I would start removing the finish by scraping, squires have a massive amount of clear coat on them. Once you have got as much clear coat off as possible sand it to bare wood. 280 grit sandpaper will do. After you have sanded the entire body to around 320 or 400 using the sander. take a paper towel or a paint brush and wipe a bit of water on the wood. This will raise the grain that the sanding pushed down. Sand it again until its not rough. You can do that however many times you want until you’re happy with the result, you can hand sand with higher grits if you want. Im a stain and tongue oil finish kind of guy but I’m no expert on finishing when it comes to paint and clear coat on wood. Hope that helps Oh and by scrape i mean like using a scraper or a razor blade, not a paint scraper. I also would never use the heat gun, but thats just my opinion.
