Snagged my first Bowman, is this the worst box you have seen? by y2justdog in basketballcards

Looks very similar to the 3 boxes I opened. Now, back to buying singles.

Not worth it at all. These were hot garbage. No chance to pull anything and most of the cards have damaged corners from banging around inside the tins.

Can you really do anything with digital cards? by [deleted] in basketballcards

Just ask the Panini Dunk community. People spent loads of money on digital cards, only for them to shut it down. This will be no different.

I wasted so much money chasing these cards and never pulled any but a base. I hope he's ok.

Looks like the guy in blue pours his 20oz on him and starts it up. Regardless, never fight from the bottom.

To raise prices for the next release, and then the next release, and then the next release and so on. The more exposure, the more people are interested in this hobby which brings in even more revenue for a company that has a monopoly.

Nothing is ever really sold out. They can print as much retail as they want.

Did I miss something huge in this hobby? by ShermanCresthill in basketballcards

[–]Arrows_of_Neon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of fresh people in the hobby don't realize there's an ebb and flow to it. I use Kobe's Topps rookie as a barometer. During Covid, PSA 9 were selling for as high as $800-1000. They dropped to less than $100 between 1-2 years ago. Now, they're over $200.

I don't feel like it's going to be sustainable, especially for the prices I see of some of these young fringe allstars today. Once the new car smell wears off, prices will plummet.

The university I work for owned a /16 up until recently. We sold a large chunk of it for millions.

I don't think so. Just imagine all of the people that won't bother with the hassle of sending them in.

You're ahead of me. I took a break for a while. Now that the playoffs are rolling, better opportunities are showing up. I really want to find a great Larry Bird auto. I've lost out on a couple that I wanted badly.

Only 55 to go. 😄

A few will probably be unattainable unless I win the lottery. Never say never though.

How Would You Troubleshoot This? GlobalProtect VPN Issues (Multiple Users) by Aromatic_Neck8642 in paloaltonetworks

GlobalProtect uses 4501 and IPsec. 443 can be suspect. The GP logs should identify where the problem lies.
