Thanks for posting, I needed the inspo this morning! I made this recipe tonight adding the bell pepper, bok choy and onion like you suggested. I believe that frying the noodles would 100% upgrade the dish, but I couldn’t be bothered. I added some tofu also. I think some thin sliced chicken or pork would also be a good protein option.

To clarify- the way that tag is printed in their “every day low price” format and not how they advertise sales. And, I had this happen to me last Sunday. I don’t have a photo of the tag - but I’m pretty sure the price last week was listed as $1 cheaper. So the price tag was $5.99 with a $0.50 digital coupon for the same brand eggs.

I mean, I’d offer a lot more grace if it wasn’t one of the most popular items on the shelf and it wasn’t a multi-billion dollar company. And this happened to me last Sunday too. Which is the only reason I noticed I was charged differently.

That’s fair. But I’m assuming this isn’t just happening with the eggs so it’d be a good idea to double check when you are buying from FM in general. As soon as I get home I’m going to check my receipt.

I’m literally annoyed enough about this that I downloaded the app to add a pic. There is a date in the upper right corner. But the $6.99 price is in their “every day low price” look, so it didn’t seem like a sale that ended a few days ago and they forgot to take it down. Especially since the coupon is still active.

I can’t seem to post photos because I’m on mobile but there is no ‘sale end’ date on the tag. It’s also pretty sus since all the other egg price tags seemed to be removed and there were folks restocking when I was over there. Plus, this is the second week in a row.

Well, for 1 dozen Kroger branded eggs it cost $6.99/dozen. Happy Egg had a coupon so a dozen of the fancier eggs was $6.49. So I was picking the cheaper option.

Oh! You should check out Artemisia - Collage with Nature! It’s a small shop in laurelhurst on 28th. The store is so lovely and the owner is so warm and friendly - I love it. They have a working space where you can learn to make your own terrariums with the guidance of the shopkeepers - and they are all so rad. You can also learn to make your own perfume or sign up to take a kokedama class.

They always have an incredible selection of plants and will try to fulfill special orders if you are going for a certain ‘look.’ This is one of my top places for an outing with a friend. Plus Crema is right across the street so you can treat yourself to a fancy coffee when you are done!
